I agree with you.
But, for me, it wasn't that the show was mid as you say..
Rather, I am tired of that type of rap music. I am tired of the whole L.A. street culture being over exposed to the point that shyt don't matter if it doesn't involve street shyt.
I get it..
L.A. is the mecca of Bs & Cs. I understand that said culture is deeply embedded in Black L.A. culture.
But, there are other artists out there who could have performed and do a good job.
I am just over it, but glad to know that those who like those artists enjoyed the show.

Unpopular opinion: the halftime show was actually boring to me. It wasn’t enough energy. Snoop and Kendrick were the only ones that I thought brought a little energy to the show. But I felt like it was missing something. At one point I looked at my sister and said “I’m bored”.People keep saying it’s the best half time show and I’m wondering if I’m missing something.
Somebody else sees it. It wasn't energetic. Energy makes a performance IMO and this aint have it.
You can hype yourself up and feed off your own energy but they didn't do anything to showoff and give off that big time energy. The camera did all the work

Nothing special about seeing Dr. Dre/ Snoop/Kendrick /MJB on stage performing timeless songs. It was a great experience for those 15 minutes where I watched the game at a party with other like minded adults.

No there's was nothing special about seeing them on stage. You were caught up with who they are and not what they actually did.
Im not an attention seeker you know that, I'm just saying that as an actual performance the performers didn't perform that amazingly. They themselves were boring, low energy, and did nothing remotely impressive. Things that I think make a great performance.

I get what you’re saying OP and I enjoyed the show but I don’t know man it’s been an unprecedented few years for everyone so I’m not sure if anyone they had perform would make me feel much different. I’ll say this though I hadn’t watched a halftime show in over ten years easy..

There's a difference between complaining and saying something wasn't good and saying why it wasn't good.
I have an unpopular opinion and thats why I acknowledged it was unpopular
