He's good but he's not as good as Krit as his best, J Cole, Drake or Pusha T at their best. He comes up with great concepts though and is a cool punchline rapper.

I would have to disagree, he's a great producer and can rap. He's just not for everyone and a lot of his newer music is too gay for me to enjoy that shyt lol

I won't say he sucks cause he adds to the music lyrically and with his voice but you may be on to something as far as him needing them to produce for him. At the same time producing isn't his strength, he tried to produce his own music(that rock album for instance) and most of that was trash.

We would have to see him working with different producers to compare cause he mostly works with them. I think him and Pharell could make a dope album personally.

I won't say trash cause he still curates the work himself and he has put together classics, but he has had their help when it came to their pen. On the other hand they can't reproduce a project on their own with the level of quality as the ones Kanye has put out using their help so it works both ways (with the exception of Lupe).

You also have to add Cyhi to that list too.

Bone Thugs is mumble rap - couldn't understand the lyrics, a boy band, and they used ad libs before they spit their bars. Fast or slow, if I can't understand what you're saying, its mumbling.

Aaliyah wasn't that great of a singer, she just had the Timbo push.

Drake won every beef, with Scorpion solidifying him as the GOAT.

Black Thought had a nice freestyle, but he's still trash when it comes to producing a hit song.

Most of this is nonsense especially the Aaliyah part. Aaliyah had hits before the world ever heard of Timbaland. I think she made her best music with Timbaland, but "The One I Gave My Heart To" was the biggest hit off of One In A Million and it is not produced by Timbaland. Besides, the world was introduced to Timbaland's sound via Aaliyah's second album.

I stand by it. All of it. Tyler is nothing more than Shock Troll rap, which I don’t respect. And Thug is basically the worst ideas Lil Wayne ever had rolled into one human being

Due to social media anybody can rap or gain a fanbase off antics more than music..before you have to have a skill or had a niche lane they stayed in..
