I watched this last night and I’m not sure why there’s a narrative about Gilbert Arenas being responsible for Javaris Crittenton being a fukk up. Gilbert Arenas didn't make him become a gang member in his 20’s as a millionaire and Gilbert Arenas isn’t the reason he killed a woman.

This documentary made me less sympathetic for Crittenton because I didn’t know the details of his case but now I’ve seen it, I think he should still be in jail.

Caught most of it today. Was pretty informative as i never cared enough to follow it in real time. But unless something changed in the last 15 minutes of it, it did feel like they kinda downplayed how much of a mental midget Javaris probably was. Or how gang affliated he always was.

They portrayed it like he was some mild mannered home sick introvert from the ATL projects who loved ball (said he didn't even want to be out and bout in LAL like that)... but then he also running heavy with LAL crips? He goes back to ATL years later and wants to be the loud guy walkin thru the projects with all the expensive jewlery?

Hell, why be so aggravated about a card game when the dispute didn't even involve him? If he's so affiliated, why is he doing the dirt himself? Did his cousin even kill the guy they were targeting, since Javaris said there were two bodies on the floor? Whole thing is just a giant SMH

He WAS ‘nggas in the hood’ tho. Thats the part that made me side eye. He was not some random guy ‘wrong place wrong time’, he was gang affiliated.
