I live in Miami, but I'm about to purchase a car in Georgia. I've always thought when you buy a car in another state you don't pay the sales tax until you register the car in your home state. However, the dealer is telling me since I am financing a portion of the price with them they will go ahead and add the FL sales tax into the price.
2013 Cadillac ATS 2.0T Premium AWD
Thunder Gray Chromaflair w/ Moretto Red interior & carbon fiber accents
1,800 miles
4 yr / 50k miles bumper-to-bumper
Cadillac maintenance program ( free oil changes, tire rotation, and brakes)
$37,800
Edit:
One picture for the moment until I can take some proper ones , so happy with my choice. That red interior with the chromaflair outside
Process was pretty tedious, but smooth. Took about 6 hours, they calcuated all the tax and title fees. Good thing I remembered that I was transferring plates since that saved me about $400.
And how about my dam transmission on my old car straight died ON THE WAY up to get my new car
. Had to get a uhaul and tow that bytch 500 miles. Took me 17 hours to get from Miami to Atlanta since it broke down, but fukk it it's all behind now.
