Yes but I'm not hiding it. That being said, if you've seen my posts, they definitely don't reflect the mainstream "white America" viewpoints.
This one sure does. The prerequisite "I'm not like all the other white people post" :stopitslime:

Out of all the cop killings that have come to light in recent memory this one seems like it was an accident. He's a young cop in a project building at night. It's understandable if he was jumpy. It's not even like he shot the breh. His shot ricocheted off the wall.

Strange that so many cops got off that deserved to be convicted yet this guy gets convicted.
This is cac logic at its best. Your whole underlying premise is that it's reasonable to take a life simply because you're scared, if the person is black.

You don't get to shoot blindly into a dark hallway because there may be a scary black person on the other side.

If your too p*ssy to go into a bad neighborhood than you shouldn't be a cop

I didn't go further than this post, but did ya'll hear this broad say that the Asians are the "model minority"?!? :dwillhuh: :mindblown:

Tbh looking at it realistically and social economically they are the 'model minority' although why you would refer to yourself in those terms is fukked up. It's basically master patting you on the head for not asking the tough questions.

To me it means you've brought into the bullshyt system and don't care about the wider implications of things like the criminal justice system until it hits one of your own.

I have asian friends who despise that term and what it represents. That asians should agree with everything the white power structure throws out and say nothing. From talking to them they hate that their parents have brought into that way of thinking.

NO
Black people do not rally behind black cops who murder or brutalize innocent or unarmed people, demanding a slap on the wrist because white cops get away with it. We throw them to the wolves too. Ming li can take her conflicted blue & yellow lives matter talking points and shove them up her ass with the pointy end of a chopstick. Jackie chan got a fair trial and rightfully convicted. Justice was served for the family of Akai Gurley and that's all that matters.

Let's move on to the next fukking hashtag.
maybe that's the problem. We should...damn if they were right or wrong...nikkas are the only ones playing fair :yeshrug:

For all my fellow East New Yorkers we all know the lighting in Pink Houses are the worst in the city for over 40 years. The officer was negligent...but the city is to blame as well.

that's a super arrogant thing to say too

The "model minority" concept arose in the 1960s during the height of Civil Rights/Black Power. Time, or some other magazine, did a report on Japanese Americans, who had higher incomes and education levels than Blacks at the time, and said they had achieved the American dream by being docile and not rocking the boat, including not backlashing on the illegal and racist internment, and supposedly "proved" that the Blacks were just bad to protest for their rights. Granted, they indirectly benefited by the fight for civil rights and that they didn't have to be on the bottom because we already were. Same story in many countries in the "New World". The model minority concept has always existed not to complement Asians but to kick us in the teeth.

Granted, there are many Asians, especially in academic circles, who refuse to abide by the BS this girl talks about. ModelMinority.com writes a lot about this and there are some interesting articles too like here:
False Friends in the Affirmative Action Debate

A lot of people forget the President of the University of California Berkeley who fought Ward Connerly when he was destroying California affirmative action in the 1990s was Asian--Chang-Lin Tien.

But back to the topic, a lot of people unfortunately eat this BS. Can't say if they are the majority but enough want approval to kick us to the curb--just like previous waves of immigrants.

Sad thing is, if we are ever gone, a lot of mofos (esp. Asians and Hispanics) would get a huge wake up call. Lots of groups succeed in the US because 1) they don't have to be at the bottom like their home country, 2) we spend money on them when many Whites won't. They can be savers, we can be spenders, and the wealth transfers :mjcry:

"In race talk the move into mainstream America always means buying into the notion of American blacks as the real aliens. Whatever the ethnicity or nationality of the immigrant, his nemesis is understood to be African Americans.

breh...you hit the nail on the head :wow:

Asian friends I knew in high school used to tell me all about how difficult it was to change their parents and friends that grew up in isolated communities ways of thinking. That model minority nonsense isn't a benefit to them but a hindrance. They get unreal expectations placed on them so white people can feel safe and bully them around. They envied how "defiant" and normal it was for black kids like me to question everything and speak out against bullshyt I thought was unfair. Whereas if they did it all the other Asians around would look at them like they upset the white man's plan.

But some of the phonies in here don't realize they propping up the same model minority bullshyt that only benefits one group of people.
