I'm ok with them protesting the unbalanced system as it pertains to white cops getting off but I can't see black people getting a win from this. If they happen to make enough noise/pull enough strings and the cop appeals and gets off that black family gets no justice and the system continues to move along as it always has.
I'd get the details before formulating an opinion.

There was an incident where a black cop shot into a white fleeing suspect's car and hit and killed the suspect's son.
The black cop was indicted only three days later.

If a civilian accidentally fatally shot a cop, how much time would they do? Especially if the civilian was agonizing over how and whether to report it. I doubt the system would have any remorse.

1) His superior told him to NOT enter that building at all. He literally told him that 30 minutes before the incident.
2) Liang dumbass wanted to prove that he was tough enough to go in a rough neighborhood. Again his fault.
3) After he went inside the building this dumbass, told one of his partners that he felt nervous going inside by himself ( His supervisor told him to not even go inside the place), but here he go trying to be a superhero.
4) He immediately sees Akai Gurley and pulls the trigger without hesitation,
5) This is important HE DOESNT EVEN CALL 911 AT ALL. The first call, this douche bag made was to his UNION REP. Saying I quote " I'm in trouble". Mind you Akai is still bleeding with no assistance.
6) Then after that call, he realizes Akai has died ( Maybe he should've checked on him earlier).
Fukk out here! This fake ass cop deserves this sentence. That's what he gets for trying to be a superhero. RIP to the real victim Akai Gurley!!

Exactly, to be honest when this was going down in Brooklyn non of these Asians even cared. Once it became a big national story is when they started making a fuss about this.

They weren't even supposed to be there on top of it all.The head officer of the local housing command,Deputy Inspector Miguel Iglesias,explicitly told them NOT to do vertical patrols.
He instructed them to do exterior patrols(courtyard,street,and only the lobby if they enter the building).
This was totally avoidable if they'd merely followed instructions.
The lack of remorse displayed in not calling 911 immediately tells you everything you need to know about this guy.
