Well to be fair, blacklivesmatter protests were not racially segregated, while only Asians (seems like mainly immigrants) show up to these Liang rallies.

It's disappointing that any of them are rallying for Liang, yes it's true that he was probably convicted because he's Asian but it doesn't mean that he should get off, it means that those white cops who've done far worse should get in trouble too. They seem to at least understand that the white police brutality that goes on is wrong, so they should fight that instead of being selfish.

They weren't even supposed to be there on top of it all.The head officer of the local housing command,Deputy Inspector Miguel Iglesias,explicitly told them NOT to do vertical patrols.
He instructed them to do exterior patrols(courtyard,street,and only the lobby if they enter the building).
This was totally avoidable if they'd merely followed instructions.

The lack of remorse displayed in not calling 911 immediately tells you everything you need to know about this guy.

Can't blame them for protesting. It was an accident. I don't think it justifies dude doing a bunch of prison time.

But that's my point. I'm well aware there were worse NYPD incidents but they were quick to throw the asian guy under the bus, the Chinese people should be protesting the NYPD and Judicial system for getting their guy while letting others walk free for worse offenses.

After he shot the guy he (the cop) was on the phone for 20 minutes with his union rep as the black guy was on the floor bleeding. He didn't call for medical assistance or anything.
