Out of all the cop killings that have come to light in recent memory this one seems like it was an accident. He's a young cop in a project building at night. It's understandable if he was jumpy. It's not even like he shot the breh. His shot ricocheted off the wall.

Strange that so many cops got off that deserved to be convicted yet this guy gets convicted.

He wasn't supposed to have his gun out to begin with. He fukked up and Someone died.

In all the other cases their go to excuse is "he was resisting" "we thought he had a gun". They didn't have that excuse here. The cop fukked up, plain and simple

He shot into a dark stairway, pretty much the defininition of reckless manslaughter.

-He did not provide any Aid to the man he shot
-He didn't call an ambulance for him
-He chose to spend the time that he was dying looking for his shell casing.
-He lied and said the gun just went off by itself

The only correct verdict here is guilty. His actions matched what he was charged. Should we feel sorry for him because he was scared of the black folks that lived there which resulted in him firing that shot? You can if you want

Justice 4 Peter Liang is supposedly about holding all white cops accountable, while understanding he should be held accountable.
