The difference between Jrue and Khris as side kicks over Murray and MPJ is one group had their leader lead them to a ring. We can argue health if you'd like, but I thought the point was talent. Even if we bring up health though, Middleton isn't exactly an iron man. :patrice:
you cant just disregard the injuries though when the past 2 years the nuggets murray has missed the playoffs and mpj has only played in one. its more than just the 2nd and 3rd best players on each teams but even then theres a significant gap in accomplishments and impact between jrue and khris over murray and mpj. giannis did deserve his finals mvp but jrue and khris didnt have insignificant contributions on the way to that ring. they won the last 2 games of the ecf without giannis. khris scored 40 and took over the game late to take the lead and put it out of reach vs the suns when they were down 2-1 in the finals. then when it was 2-2 jrue and 27/13 while khris had 29/5 to put them up 3-2.

even beyond the injuries its also an experience issue, jrue and khris are both older experienced veterans than giannis. both murray and mpj are 2-3 years younger than jokic and have 2 years of playoff experience each.

Okay, I'll bite. Like you said, let's be honest. The difference between Jrue and Khris as side kicks over Murray and MPJ is one group had their leader lead them to a ring. We can argue health if you'd like, but I thought the point was talent. Even if we bring up health though, Middleton isn't exactly an iron man. :patrice:

If your question is "would Giannis be held to the same standard Jokic is for not winning a ring after almost 10 years in the league" the answer would most certainly be a resounding yes seeing as how that is literally exactly what happened in Milwaukee. Nobody was trying to insinuate Jrue and Khris was so much better than Murray and MPJ before the ring. And yeah them nikkas be hurt but like I said so does Middleton
The point isn’t that some are more I just prone than others. It’s hat Giannis had his guys healthy for a playoff run and won it all. Next year one was out and he lost in the second. Last 2 years Jokic had one out and lost in the second and both out and lost in the first.

Jokic was in the conference finals with both healthy, even though MPJ was a bench player back then.

Embiid had never played more than 70 games in a season, only played 31 games his first year, played 51 games twice… and didn’t play his first two years, his numbers are skewed

I get tired of seeing the same people win it if the best player got it we would have saw Lebron win like 5-6 in a row.
Agree, they need to keep the same energy.
Cause looking back 30 years from now, people might get the idea cause these bozos started switching up.

On random occasions they stopped giving a fukk about defense, stopped giving a fukk about how good you made your team, how good you played your position and on and on. What good is such a price if there's not perfect consistency over time.

I also think they need to name it Regular season MVP, it's just wack to me that ones play-off run isn't counted in this day and age of nobody giving a fukk about the regular season, the play-in and the trading.
