B.G. was too cold with it :wow:

Lol I'll give you B.G. That's 1 rapper tho...If you're going through the history of hip hop and can only find 1 or 2 rappers that are on par with what the kid put together, you gotta put some respect on the young man's name.

if you stop being angry and give his music a chance you'll see that Kodak is top 3 best rappers of the 2010s

his skills may not be as good as Nas or Big(he's on par with Pac) but his message and ability to paint pictures is better than theirs if we're keeping it a buck.

I've heard the music & no that nikka is not top 3 of anything.

Y'all continuously reward stupidity/mediocrity & look at where the culture is at now.

The bar is so low it's damn shame.

Biggie, nas, pac were young, but there mentality level was well beyond their age.

his wiki describes him "Kodak Black joins other young rappers who have rejected an old-school emphasis on lyrical variety, individualism, and personal catharsis" from a New Yorker article.

You can't say you're rejecting old-school traditions, and then insist on being included in discussion with the old school :pachaha: :camby:

I think these nikkas forget Nas was about 19 when he penned Illmatic & Big was 20/21 when we wrote RTD

Pac was 20 on 2Pacalypse Now,
Rakim was 19 when Paid in Full came out.
Q-tip "the aim is to succeed and achieve at 21"
Ice-Cube was 18 on NWA and the Posse.
Mobb Deep 19 on Juvenile Hell

Exactly the point. While Kodak is decent for this generation, he's not fuking with what those artists did at the same age. All of the artists we mentioned shifted hip hop & moved the culture in ways he couldn't imagine. Especially Rakim. He changed the entire way artists approached rap

Rakim was rapping like he was 48 years old :wow:

And take you for a walk through hell
Feed your dome then watch your eyeballs swell :wow:

Music-orientated so when hip-hop was originated
Fitted like pieces of puzzles, complicated :wow:

Also forgot that MF DOOM and SubRoc were legit like 18 and 16 when they first did their KMD shyt and of course mobb deep :mobbdap:

brehs were children rapping about not being able to grow beards, but the beats were on some jazzed out sesame street ish :ohlawd:
