Every one of these guys are there because of money, as long as they're getting a big paycheck, that's all that matters.. At the end of the day it's a job, you do your job and if you're unhappy there, they know where the door is.

Why are they focusing on Owens weight and not Bray's?
Maybe because Wyatt's just some weirdo hillbilly while Owens is being pushed as this legit tough guy who is supposed to be physically imposing.
So you got one fat guy whose whole character is based on his being a weirdo and another fat guy whose character is based on his being intimidating.
Historically in wrestling an intimidating fat guy was usually considered to be in the "giant" category like One Man Gang, King Kong Bundy or Earthquake.

Honestly, I'm just a masochist...but I get it now. I think I actually get the plan.

Cena will have earned his 16th title the hard way:

- while on top with his 15th reign, Brock Lesnar destroys John Cena with sixteen suplexes.
- looks a million times more competent and loses due to Seth Rollins interference in the rematch, and the triple threat rematch at the RR. The spiritual also-ran do-holder.
- takes a tour in the midcard, elevates the lowest men's singles title on a weekly basis
- more importantly, and perhaps more bitterly to those who see the pattern of him eating stars, he goes ("puts") over the newer stars as he retains a title of fighting champion who never gives up Cena wins LOL
- have the same guy who cockblocked his redemption against Brock Lesnar become the most super chickenshyt WWE champion in some time
- he has did his tour of duty, earned a sixteenth reign, whatever I guess

Owens was just another bone Cena threw to promote NXT, nothing more.

This is worse than following LOST:mjcry:

Wyatt never loses on television though and has a winning record against company favorite Reigns...Owens is walking away from fights now. LOL.

RAW only shows up on my TV because of the podcast. That is the god honest truth. I'm so tired of Cena at this point that it's indifference now. He's done great work this year, but the fact remains that his positioning in the company is detrimental. I don't know how many years he has left on his career but they really need to start planning for the future because Cena can't wrestle forever. All the talent they've brought in over the last ten years and you mean to tell me only a handful have gotten over? The WWE's shortsightedness is digging a hole they may not get out of.

You echo my thoughts well. I used to despise the guy, but since 2009 it's been apathy and change the channel heat. I'm sure it's a long list that feels that way. Once the crowd rejects you as the guy, you have to allow someone else to shine or you will only cost yourself money.

And yet according to you, nothing about him screams entertainment or valuable.
If he looks like Lex Luger, his matches would be more entertaining?
Would you pay more attention to what he said if he was built like Orton?
His weight and character are fine, as evidenced by the fact he got over and looked in his element across from the company's top guy.
I'm not interested in nitpicking, I'm interested in being entertained, and Owens provides that.

Now where on earth did I say that? You're getting all homotional about this and putting words in my mouth. I said nothing about him says larger than life superstar, and I stand by that. That doesn't mean he's not entertaining or valuable. He is, and he obviously has a spot on the roster, it's just not as "the guy".

Well no kiddin', Sherlock, I kind of just said that in the same quote you're replying to.
:heh:
Vince having a body builder fetish is inconsequential to the fact Owens is legitimate, which is my only argument.
More legitimate than 95% of the guys you could name in this company that are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
The most over guy of the last decade looked like your average social worker.
That's Vince's hangup and gives further credence to CM Punks claim that he's allergic to money.

Really? What guy that looks like Owens has ever drawn a shytload of money for Vince? From Hogan to Rock to Austin/HHH/Taker/Cena/Batista/Brock the top guys look a certain way. They give off the larger than life vibe.

You can throw Foley in there if you want.. he was never "the guy" but he had a spot in the upper midcard, got a couple of runs, maybe that's what Owens will be. That would be great and he would be more than deserving. I'm not here trying to argue that he's not a great talent. I'm just trying to give some people a reality check here who are confused as to why the WWE doesn't view him as a top guy.

How you gonna make a new superstar if you keep feeding them to the overinflated "face of the company"

Breh I'm not even that big of a Kevin Owens fan here, I've watched NXT like a total of 10 times in its history, but you don't bury a dude like this so early in his career.

It's just like with Daniel Bryan...the people were feeling him! The people were feeling that this big dude with a zero fukks attitude was coming out of Rookieville to challenge Super Cena. And they've ruined it.

I agree... I wish Owens would have won.

We will see how over he is though.. you say the people were feeling him? Well he was feuding with the guy who is both the #1 face and #1 heel in the company at the same time, everybody who goes against Cena gets cheered, and Owens was cheered doubly cause he's already a smark favorite.

We'll see how much people are feeling him when he's not feuding with Cena.

SMH at this garbage post. Did you send your resume to Titan towers after hitting post replay. News flash, but the biggest stars/best workers in this business(foley, dusty, etc) have been flabby fukks like Owens. Owens had the MOTY with cena at EC. Who gives a fukk what he looks like?

I agree, you gotta do it with someone... is Owens the guy? I don't think so. I would have rather they pulled that trigger with Rusev, or maybe wait to do it with Finn Balor.

I might be wildin but KO mic skills > Rusev

And I fukks with Rusev...his entrance at Mania was dope

But it's TIME. Look what happend with Daniel Bryan...they waited and waited and waited and dude put on classics and 5 star matches and then when they finally relented...BAM...too late...body gone to shyt...can't even wrestle now.

And the game NEEDS D Bry right now. Just like the game needs Punk right now.

Now what do we get...waiting out Cenas next victim and a feud between part timers that no one really wants to see

I can't wait til Summerslam when Brooklyn shyts on this nikka for two nights in a row :smh:

I'm still contemplating copping some tickets
