Also, people discovered dna, loyalty and love with the album, so it's not relevant. We're not talking about 3rd or 4th week sales here...these are fukking projections for the first week sales of an album that features some of the biggest stars on the radio.
You're missing my point you Kendrick dikkriding idiot. Projections are based on current streaming consumption. Obviously people don't want to stream this based on what they heard. That was me giving Kendrick props.

as fukked up as it sounds i want this shyt to flop. i was expecting a hip hop "Revival'' themed album but once that tracklist dropped i knew what we were gonna get. let this bomb to the ground, he better have a backup plan and drop another disc with the other songs he's recorded from the sessions of this album. i bet they might be better than this failed attempt.

I was laughing at Pink being mad that Em didn't show/want to be in her video, said she had to get some fake Eminem's for the video and it came out a disaster
I can see wanting to curb anybody trying to make an excuse, but I think it should be obvious that Em and Kendrick wouldn't be marketed the same.
It's like people push that argument that Eminem can put out whatever he wants and still do numbers and this album, one that was CLEARLY put together with Itunes sales in mind kind of proves that theory wrong. Em re-signed with Interscope at least once if not more than once so whatever their influence is on the end product still falls at his feet. But the notion that the label is going to be LESS involved with his project because of his status is erroneous.
A "lasers" type situation where the label will present you with ready made songs to jump on isn't some far fetched, stan fiction lol. It doesn't need to be because Lupe did what he could with what he was given, the album is a fukking mess either way you slice it.

and still did better numbers than 99% of rap artist.an album with better beats and features would still do the same numbers. probably even more because people would inclined to listen to it more than once.
