The Rotten Tomatoes reviewers don't vote. Their reviews can either be negative or positive. That's what makes up the RT percentage.

Also, the IMDB score is by users. I tend to trust RT more. I rarely ever disagree with them. Few exceptions.

i went to see for myself and that shyt really is at 6.5--...i checked after earth and it is at 5.1...devil in a blue dress: 6.5 and after earth: 5.1--...according to imdb after earth is only a lil bit worse than devil in a blue dress..or devil in a blue dress is only a lil bit better than after earth--????...

I bet less people voted for Devil than did After Earth. So it's easier for a movie like Devil to maintain a high score. Less haters. Movie hasn't been seen as much as After Earth so the people visiting the IMDB page are probably passionate about it.

After Earth was released in Korea at the same time as in the US and it came in behind The Hangover 3 making $2.7 million.
The problem with its wider international release in the next couple weeks is it will be facing competition from Man of Steel and World War Z (and even The Lone Ranger) which will all be opening worldwide in the same time frames.

IMDB numbers mean jack shyt, especially when it comes to black movies. Most user will rate a movie a 1 or a 2 before it even comes out. IMDB is just a bunch of wanna be movie critics who know NOTHING about the industry
