In case anyone is really interested, here's the song that Gov had with Pac and Richie Rich...this is from the early '90's:

Gaffled Like That

"...bi*ches like you'll steamrolled, mopped up, beat down and slapped with a mobile phone...."

Breh, nikkas is robbing the News Vans and reporters that come to the hood to do stories
Oakland Tribune photographer robbed at gunpoint - Inside Bay Area
KTVU News Van Burglarized In Oakland « CBS San Francisco

Why would a nikka worth over a mill feel comfortable around these nikkas is the question. He probably tried to be bold and not give up the shyt which is why nikkas squeezed on him.

Nikkaz robbin' news cameras :patrice: In this new era rappers feel comfortable with their paid security. Back in the day rappers are in your area 50-60 deep with thugs ready to set it off. You can't be in the hood walkin' around like a f*ckin' lottery ticket and thinkin' nikkaz ain't finna touch that. I was in Newark a while ago, and quite a few of the stores off Frelinghuysen didn't open with out police presence. So if Dunkin Donuts is afraid to open for 2-3 g's, how much should a KNOWN rapper with M's on his neck LITERALLY be afraid? 2 Chainz need to have goons or Blackwater type security on deck. He's one of "them" now, he's a rich celebrity, he ain't a Playaz Circle hood rapper no more.

better question what the fascination with these rappers going to hood they're not from.

Yeah, it's weird. We'll never truly know, but I think one reason is that some of these rappers are delusional and only get a reality check once they get robbed.

nikkas tried to get him here in the D too. Dude just a target I don't know why

Maybe because he keeps going to hoods he's not from?

But honestly, I wonder what the factors are. Rappers get robbed way more than regular celebrities and other musicians. Or maybe I just hear about them getting robbed more often... I have a feeling if a regular celebrity was robbed, it would be in the news, not just a twitter rumor. I'm thinking:

1. Hoods are more familiar with rappers, especially gangsta rappers, making them a target.

2. A lot of rappers come from a hood, and once they're famous, think their fame will matter in other hoods.

3. Other celebrities stay away from street people and are more likely to get bodyguards to protect them.

4. People feel like robbing someone who brags about killing and drug dealing is more justified than robbing some pop star who isn't about that life at all. Celebrities, though richer and more famous, might not invite the same animosity as a gangsta rapper with money who decides to show up in the hood.

Just my armchair theories on all of this...

I think some want the fame, you know the "I robbed 2 Chainz and I got his chain on instagram let me get 100 likes"

But also these rappers are coming to some of the poorest cities in America. These boys down here can't even buy a bus pass, what you think they're gonna do when they see $100,000 on someones neck. Everybody tryin to eat

nikkas gotta stop mistaking Oakland with L.A. Oakland is far less safe than L.A. These nikkas is starving and are willing to do something about it and unless you actually pay them you're not safe. fukk who you're cool with. Him being coo with E-40 means nothing to the streets. In L.A you can move however you want to as long as you pay a big crip or blood set. He's lucky to walk away with his life and a lesson. And it won't be any buying his jewelry back either. That's chalked to the game.

You Bay Area nikkas, more then Anyone else be so eager to tell the world how dangerous your city is, how much trends y'all started, how many nikkas get killed fukking around in your city..

It's like god damn nikka, y'all made a significant contribution to the culture, it's real in your streets, we fukking get it.. Why y'all so insecure about everybody outside of the bay not giving y'all credit? God damn you nikkas be tryin to hard

The reason these dudes don't get robbed in L.A. more often than not is because they not south of wilshire blvd.

These dudes stay in beverly hills, west hollywood or down in anaheim areas doing shows with heavy police surveillance.

plus L.A. is more equipped than the bay in terms of handling entertainers and violence cause there's shows all the time here.

plus oakland kind of beef with anybody regardless.
