Starting today, we're introducing three upgraded Game Pass plans based on how players play: Essential, Premium, and Ultimate. Each includes expanded game libraries, including PC titles, unlimited cloud gaming, in-game benefits (including Riot Games titles), and a revamped Rewards with Xbox experience. Today's Game Pass Core subscribers will automatically move to Essential, Standard subscribers will transition to Premium, and Ultimate subscribers will remain in the Ultimate plan.
Ultimate has been upgraded for players who want the best of everything. We're rolling out our most expansive upgrade yet, including more day one games than ever before, Fortnite Crew & Ubisoft+ Classics for the first time ever, upgrades to Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming quality, Rewards with Xbox, and more. Now players can have it all.

Ultimate subscribers now get access to over 75 day one releases a year. That includes some of the most anticipated upcoming games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, High on Life 2, Keeper, Ninja Gaiden 4, and The Outer Worlds 2. These join a growing library of more than 400 games playable on Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud on supported devices, with more than 45 new games added today. Think of hits like Blue Prince, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, plus exclusive benefits like access to EA Play.

With people paying $80 for games this is still a good deal.
I’ve definitely played more than $350 worth of games already this year on gamepass. And the $100 rewards coming back allows you to pick up a few games not on gamepass.

Maybe won’t work for some people. But it’s worth it if you play a lot of games :manny:

Don’t see the big deal, they added more for an extra 10 . I probably won’t be using it but for people who into Fortnite or Ubisoft on top of ea play and the gamepass itself will make sense for them

The great thing about Gamepass was that it opened up exposure to alot of the smaller developers. That's why expedition 33 and others were able to blow up and get their flowers. But all of their AAA games on Day 1 is what's causing this price increase. I don't care what you Xbots say their is no way that they're recouping those development costs for all their AAA games on a monthly subscription that cannibalizes actual purchases. It's simple math and business 101. That's why other publishers refuse to do it. It's economic malpractice for a business.

Almost like it’s complete common sense that it was never sustainable

Yeah. They call it the Netflix of gaming but fail to realize that not even Netflix is dropping the whole season of their flagpole shows on Day 1 anymore. It's a great model short term to build a base but long term it can't sustain itself. Especially since they've hit their ceiling with subscribers

No paying $360 a year for Game Pass isn't a good deal. I'm not gonna call it a bad deal it's pretty mediocre. That's basically the price of 5 AAA level games and in reality is if you're patient you can get games on sale and do better.

Yeap especially since people on average are playing 1-2 games at a time for months until they move on.
