I think $30 a month is only worth it if you actually use all that shyt. Premium half the price and still gets 1st party games "within a year"
Premium doesn't get Call of Duty within that year. It specifically excludes that so by the time you get a COD of Premium it'll be over a year old and the next one will be out.

To me this is Microsoft's way of killing Game Pass. It's the cable TV model of raising prices causing people to leave and again raising prices causing more people to leave. Game Pass no longer makes much sense because Microsoft is a 3rd party publisher on other platforms and it will possibly impact their game sales there. This is a way to sunset it without flat out killing it. Price it out of existence.

Premium at half the price means you could buy COD with the money you saved

but yeah, things like that are part of why I said "if you actually use all that shyt"

Game Pass was the promise of day 1 games. Take that away and you might as well get a PlayStation and their service instead. It's sad to see what Nadella has turned Xbox into. Hardware is effectively dead and now Game Pass will become a niche service for people who are willing to pay excessive monthly fees. He has literally turned Xbox into Activision Blizzard instead of them integrating into Xbox it was consumed by it.

No paying $360 a year for Game Pass isn't a good deal. I'm not gonna call it a bad deal it's pretty mediocre. That's basically the price of 5 AAA level games and in reality is if you're patient you can get games on sale and do better.
If you are patient you can also wait for them to come to the lower tiers of gamepass within a year. :stopitslime:

Games i’ve completed this year
Stalker 2
Indiana Jones
Ninja Gaiden 2 remaster
Avowed
South of Midnight
E33
Working on AtomFall right now

Atomfall
Robocop
neon white
little nightmares 2
NG rage bound
mullet madjack

Working on Silksong

:ehh:
There’s easily more than $350 there. And therese still some big games coming like Ninja gaiden. COD and Outer Worlds.

I also have $50 in rewards sitting in my account right now.

Besides my own personal situation.

There’s no contracts or anything locking you in to gamepass. And the games are announced weeks/months in advance. You can subscribe for any month that seems like a good deal to you.

$30 is still a lot cheaper than the $80 people have to pay to play games day 1:usure:

Didn't you read the report? Xbox fans try more games than any other console platform holder.

They just don't stick with those games or buy them
And that's why they continually raise the price. I remember that report. They try games for a few hours then move on. They don't beat them, don't actually purchase the game, or buy dlc. They're just window shopping for a fee. That doesn't benefit anyone. Trying games doesn't keep studios afloat. At that point Xbox should just start sending out demo discs like Sony used to lol

When they put ads in the more expensive tiers Meach gonna be like
"You supposed to take a break anyway when gaming, don't you read the safety screen when the game is starting? :usure: An ad just reminds you to take a break."
And yall gone pay $70($80?) for Ninja Gaiden and tell me i was stanning cause i paid $30 for it :wow:

The great thing about Gamepass was that it opened up exposure to alot of the smaller developers. That's why expedition 33 and others were able to blow up and get their flowers. But all of their AAA games on Day 1 is what's causing this price increase. I don't care what you Xbots say their is no way that they're recouping those development costs for all their AAA games on a monthly subscription that cannibalizes actual purchases. It's simple math and business 101. That's why other publishers refuse to do it. It's economic malpractice for a business.
Expedition 33 would have blown up without gamepass. It’s that damn good.

Gamepass is cool, but we’re looking at a situation where they’re trying to milk gamepass for all it’s worth. I assume there were heavy bags dropped to make games like Silksong available on day one. You’re going to have to assume those bags will come a little lighter as time goes on.
