This is a bizarre movie no matter how you put it. Going from 20 dollars to 30 dollars is a bridge too far for a lot of consumers, at this point it would make more sense to download the games you like should you even decide to keep your XBox or buy the games on PC on another platform like Steam, GOG, EPIC etc.

With people paying $80 for games this is still a good deal.
I’ve definitely played more than $350 worth of games already this year on gamepass. And the $100 rewards coming back allows you to pick up a few games not on gamepass.

Maybe won’t work for some people. But it’s worth it if you play a lot of games

they also should've picked a stronger year. Or a stronger title than call of duty and some random third party selects. Halo, Gears or something left field like Persona 4 RE. Even waiting until Forza 6 would've been better than right now.

You make a decision to do something and it's correct you don't go back on it at all. Getting to keep the price you already had isn't amazing it's just continuing to pay what you paid.

They have a history of this crap. Tried to raise the price of Xbox Live Gold before backtracking on it. Eventually they raised the price anyway by renaming it to Core then Essential and doing away with the annual subscription at the discounted rate.

Tried to raise the price of some games to $80 before backing down at this thread me and reverting back to $70.

Raised the price of their home console 2 times in the span of a few months.

??? They have been nerfing the reward program every year. Its at the worst its ever been. You overall earn less now and increased the amount of points required to redeem cards. They took away the ability to auto renew.
