UPS Delivery man steals iPad after FedEx leaves package at door

ups gave my ipad mini to my neighbour cause I wasnt home... luckily they didnt steal it.

mane I am PERSONALLY EMBARRASED by this situation...

UPS was a BRAND I STOOD BY for years..because that's where i worked at when i was in college....

back then late 90's , early 2000's..they actually had a STANDARD for hiring..

thier SCREENING PROCESS was serious!!

i only got on after numerous attempts filling applications...simply because i attended a college where they were holding a recuiting session, and i happen to use a college friend who already worked thier as a refrence...

but these days im hearing from my former co-workers...

they HIRING ANYBODY....they just don't care

gangbangers, backpage hoes, felons , mental patients....


just yesterday i was in the Mall...and the UPS guy was in thier....some little wirey ass looking dude with thin braids in his hair......

looking like CHIEF KEEF after he LOST HIS RECORD DEAL..

i was like WTF......then i saw the mofo loading up his truck while puffing on a black and mild...............



i guess the UNION they had ain't strong no more...cause they just didn't hire anybody...

thier was a sense of pride when u put on that Brown Uniform......

i didn't watch the video and forgot what exactly was written on my apple packages, but it surely wasn't just the ipad/iphone box or anything that blatantly said what was inside, so how do mofo's know what's in there?

all the packages from apple look the same. Being a ups driver myself i can clearly identify an apple pkg.

That's not the case.I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and ups left it on my front door of the apt.They do that for all small deliveries

I get sh1t delivered at home all the time and work by UPS,Fed Ex (shoes,clothes,etc) never once not delivered without a signature...

If i was ordering anything to my house like an ipad or computer i would make sure when ordering to request signature at door for whichever courier they used....To be on the safer side i always have sh1t delivered to my work address anyway...

Apple also has "Locked & Found" on all their devices so if it is stolen all he has to do is report it and the police will track it and pick it up.

I do shipping and receiving for a living. Do business with both UPS and FedEx. I can tell a Apple product when I see one. Apple boxes are sent through FedEx and if you look closely where the package is coming from it says "AI." Lots of high end vendors have showrooms or discreet names when they send packages, but if you know what your looking for it's not hard.

During the holiday season FedEx and UPS bulk up and hire on temp workers. That guy could have just been working the holiday season. You'd have to be pretty damn stupid to be a full employee and taking packages when you're making the type of money they are making.

I am a dispatch supervisor at UPS. Telling by the DIAD (the electronic device that drivers use to scan packages) that guy was carrying, he most likely was a driver (not a driver helper). He could also be a casual driver that knows after the season he probably will not have a job.

Apple ships both FedEx and UPS. I have a few hundred Apple products come through my center on a daily basis.
