UPS and FedEx are two different beings. One is under a Union and the other is not. So, the pay grades/benefits are going to be drastically different.

just yesterday i was in the Mall...and the UPS guy was in thier....some little wirey ass looking dude with thin braids in his hair......

i was like WTF......then i saw the mofo loading up his truck while puffing on a black and mild...............



i guess the UNION they had ain't strong no more...cause they just didn't hire anybody...

I am a dispatch supervisor at UPS. Telling by the DIAD (the electronic device that drivers use to scan packages) that guy was carrying, he most likely was a driver (not a driver helper). He could also be a casual driver that knows after the season he probably will not have a job.

Apple ships both FedEx and UPS. I have a few hundred Apple products come through my center on a daily basis.

See you recognize the equipment a lot better then I do. You are probably right. Which only makes the fact that he was an actual employee and stealing much worse.

I don't know what they get paid, but I do know UPS>FedEx as far as pay. The union has UPS eating good once you've been with the company awhile.

I work for UPS and my drivers make good money. There are too many variables to consider. It's a job that is paid by the hour. I have drivers that EASILY pull in 6 figures (but, they have been driving for 20+ years).

It's not easy work though. Very Physical. You work in all types of weather. And, it's a tough job to get. If you don't make your numbers, you don't get the job. Even after you get the job, you basically do whatever route needs to be covered. You're basically a bytch, until you have your own route. Then, you make GOOD money.

Yeah I have a bad back, so thats not gonna work for me. I was just thinkin about the dude who delivered me a 2 lb box with my polo vest in it...gettin 70k a year ...kind of tripped me out
