All I'm saying is, while Lux is the GOAT to me, he's only had 1 URL battle. Comparing him to people with like 10 battles on URL is kinda hard to do. It's much easier for him to always have a great performance if he battles once a year.

I think nome 3 was a great learning experience for the URL. They would recycle these top tier niiggas. A lot of us were saying they needed to insert new talent before nome 3 even happened. I think they'll have more urgency to get new talent with some fresh shiit on that stage. It will also create some fresh matchups.

URL isn't going anywhere. As with any business there are ups & downs.

Yes it is. Do you realize how popular Smack is bro? They can survive off their core audience alone and have been for years and years.

You can't compare it to sports, because their overhead isn't nearly what there's is. And NBA/NFL, etc have a specific skill level that nobody can match. There's nikkas who get 500 dollars a battle that would wipe the floor with some URL nikkas that make 8K a battle.

but we all agree its at a Stand-Still right now, even with the hardcore fan. the negative reception Smack/URL right now is over-whelming

Summer Madness literally had ZERO promotion. None. Just one Daylyt/Swave trailer, one guy who never had a URL battle and another mid tier guy

And they drew 1000 fans on a Sunday, first week of football. I was talking to people in line who had no clue who was on the card except one battle.
