the truth is Surf and Twork are prolly naturally nervous as hell most of the time, in order for them to perform well there has to be no pressure, front runners imo

I think there's arguments to be made for and against crowds. Most of the best moments tied to battle rap are because of the crowd, but I also agree that the Day/Roc battle would not have been this good with a crowd.

The conditions of the world will determine that obviously, but I can see big stage guys not liking this format.

i just watched the lux/surf, lux was fire to me. not grey hoodie and not hollow battle level or cal minus the choke, but imo as good as the clips battle and arsonal first round. Surf to me his best round was the 3rd material wise. i feel like besides choking surf in certain battles, like this one, the nitty battle comes to mind, has OBC schemes. we been heard deodorant schemes, also he had two lines that are reused. the johnny cage split the punch and the catastrophic kitten me , ive def heard before, maybe daylyt ? but yeah lux 3-0, lux just wasnt going crazy punching
