If you run back your bars and the crowd reacts more than they did the first time, then yes, they’re that good, because they didn’t catch them. That happened repeatedly. And the thing is, Red wasn’t even spitting abstract, he was just saying some moderately clever stuff that this crowd was too dumb to catch. This is really one of the worst crowds I’ve ever seen. Dude was just saying some slick shyt and the crowd was up there acting like he’s spitting hieroglyphics.
Red’s stumbles? Let’s talk about Ave out of breath racing through mediocre punchline after punchline at times

The only debatable round in this battle is the first. 2-1 either way is the call.
O Red's first was
to me. He started slow and stumbled. He had good lines with a bunch of bad ones mixed in. He was all over the place and he wanted to keep going
. He wanted a 9 minute round. Edit that shyt down to 4 minutes and go with your best bars. Ave's first was more consistent and clean. I give Ave the 3rd.
Sloppy performance from Red plus he choked. He gotta hold the L.

Rappin better doesn't guarantee you the battle. nikkaz gotta stop using that angle to give certain rappers a win. Some of y'all (not sayin you specifically) do this shyt a lot when it's convenient.
For example. Most people had Suge beat Lotta Zay even tho Lotta Zay was the better rapper. Same thing with Danja vs Goodz. Danja clearly out rapped Goodz, he barred his life away. But most cats had Goodz winning. But now in the case of Ave vs Red, those same cats are like "this is different"

Unpopular Opinions About Battle Rap
Piperboy was right in his blog. They did O Red a little dirty in that trailer. He had better bars in this battle they could've used. However, O Red stumbled a little in all three rounds but turned up. Ave had cleaner rounds overall. Hate to do this because O Red is one of my favorites but Ave, 2-1. Just overall performance wise, Ave did better.
