If it's a bunch of people debating, how is it no debate?!

I think from either side it's kinda silly to declare someone won "clearly" it's fair how I see people judging it. I have several battles where the same people overlooking stumbles slips and chokes for red was killing another battle rapper for the exact same slip ups.

For me you can still win with a few slip ups, if you are that much better than your opponent i.e verb vs jimz, and if your opponent just doest come with anything special. This wasn't the case for ave, he had some shyt every round.

For me it comes down to the 1st, Ave had a fire 1st with about only 1 bar I wasn't feeling. Red started very slow, began warming up, but about a quarter of his round was really throw away. And a few of his bars just wasn't that good. Not to mention a moment in the 1st where red had a long pause you can kind of argue he was getting his shyt back, slight choke.

Yea it's nitpicking, but you have to nitpick to determine winners in close battles like this. Ave 1st rd was better imo, that gives him the win 2-1

There is a difference having better bars and winning a battle imo. Never said Red won the battle (although he did imo) so I dont have any problems with someone giving it to Ave because of the choke and fukkery. But pure bar for bar Red was on another level then Ave.

1st: ave. both them nikkas was spitting crazy throughout, but imo ave's best bars this round were better than red's best. maybe not by much. but i give him the edge. red had a couple stumbles too.

2nd: red. no contest. and it's not like ave was wack. red was just that much better.

3rd: ave. aint no way in hell you can give red that round. had a huge stumble, confused frank white for frank castle, and was running bars back explaining them out to get a pop. he did all that shyt IN THE SAME ROUND. and some of yall still giving him a pass? oh, and by the way, ave was once again dope as fukk that round.

I guess Goodz because Danja looked scared up there but I preferred his material tbh

I'll say suge but not a fan of either so I don't remember anything from it

I don't have a philosophy behind judging winners, I just like who I like. I'm not gonna disagree with people who thought Ave won, I think he was dope too. I just don't think Red hurt himself that much given that his material was mostly on point

With O red being off for as long as he was.. He has no valid reason to choke. Ave being active and battling every 2 months should be more liable to choke. Especially with his personal issues

O red should of won this battle based on that alone.

Battles like this make it really clear to me what I like, personally.

Red has those intricacies I love, in setups and cadence and landing bars, whereas Ave repeatedly uses the same cadence - I find myself knowing his patterns so easily. His haymakers are crazy though

it's crazy. ave has some monster fukking punchlines. what he's saying you rarely see coming. but yeah, he definitely needs to mix it up in terms of patterns. particularly how he throws a punchline and immediately builds the setup for his next punch on top of it, then pauses/resets after the fans quiet down.

looked like he was trying to switch it up a bit in round one. particularly in the buildup to that uncle fester/thing punch. but overall he's still got room to improve.

still had him winning tho. red was borderline-sloppy, delivery-wise.
