Norfeast groovin…
We will be able to sell mollywater in Cuba without repercussions! And their baseball players will be able to play here without fear for their families!

fukk these butthurt Cubans!

You know Che is rolling in his grave right now though :mjcry:

If Cuba stays Cuba then they did him proud. But sucks for us that didn't go when we had the chance, those old 1950s whips and the uniqueness created by the embargo might be a thing of the past now.

That's definitely something to look for. I'm still looking at this with a suspicious eye. America has been after Cuba since the 19th century, it's gotta be a catch here.

Yep. Motherfukkers out here playing a modern-day version of Risk that substitutes declarations of wars with proxies, propaganda and PR spinning. The public isn't even aware at the some of the shyt we did this week:

- and from the previous article, the funding for Ukraine's "Ministry of Information Policy" is a direct result of this type of shyt: http://www.bbc.co.uk/monitoring/ministry-of-truth-sparks-controversy-in-ukraine

Cuba gonna become a colony again :lupe:

Republicans gonna win in 2016

i think its the opposite. smart ass move politically...i think at this point, theres a strong enough portion of the population that supports this move and the republicans are gonna bury themselves by taking stupid stances on it. could also backfire on a D if they take an outdated position on it though i doubt they would take a firm oppositional stance to it

downside is there isnt much $$ around there at the moment for cubans to make the purchases but opening one of the first car dealerships there has to be a great look longterm
I was stationed in Guantanamo once and we had a reservist who made tons of $$$ in real estate. We were out on a viper boat ride that there's a patch of land that Teddy Roosevelt lived on that served as the bases commanders quarters that in an open market, just for the land alone he could fetch anywhere from $1.5-2.25 mil, not including the house (and he was just guess-timating). Someone is going to be swimming in Scrooge McDuck money if it truly opens up. I think Deutsche Telekom was working on getting their footprint on the telecommunications front back in 07-08 when Raul took over but I stopped following after I left
