The correct way to handle it. SONY avoids the backlash by being clear that they are not the ones imposing restrictions and gives publishers the ability to do so if they wish (most wont)

How about paying for ONLINE PLAY. How many times did I say that was a done deal.

Did they talk about how PSN is improved? Its a fact that they are not experienced and since they are just starting to charge, they can't be on par with XBL in its current state. Or its future state. There online network will be better than XBL on the original Xbox, but similar to the current. With the way games will be made this gen, PSN isn't ready.

Go look up "The Crew" and you'll see what I'm talking about. PS4 already getting inferior versions because it doesn't use the cloud/always on as standard.
Its up to the developers, and the developers will chose them over YOU so its a done deal. They just sweet talked you into it

The problem with drm has always been a philosophical one instead of a problem with actual functionality. People just like having something to rage on the internet about. Right now it's consumer rights/DRM, tomorrow it will be totaly different.

This goes for so-called games "journalists" as well. All year they have been against "always online" but an "always online" game won game of the show at e3 last year and it looks like it will be the same this year. The number one selling game this gen is without an Internet connection. Yet video game fans all over the net want to get mad at " always online" features. The shyt makes absolutely no sense to me.

I think there are people that genuinely care. If you don't, then this shouldn't bother you either way. You can't possibly be so narrow minded to think that youre way of thinking is the only way in the nation, much less the world.

in regards to drm activision has never done it and ea has discontinued it's program. the only one still using passcodes is ubisoft.

Remember that EA has already said they make so much money on DLC. Sales and DLC are more important than blocking used games.

If they are selling way more on one platform than the other, they won't give a fukk. Notice Activision doesn't use an online pass

The feature I realy care about is being able to install games and play them directly from the hardrive. This can't be done on ps4, and is the reason for the 24hour check-ins. Seeing how I don't have a problem paying my Internet bill. This perk is a no brained for me.

It's not a problem to me I have not gone without the Internet for almost a decade. Internet connectivity is not a problem of mine.
