It had a spark when it started and was poised to make some serious noise after the Shibuya arc but it falls off pretty heavy sadly

JJK is STYLISH and has hype fight scenes. The explanations of the world and techniques are SUBPAR. The characters designs are interesting, but the personalities are rehashes. Season 2 had like 10 episodes in a row of STRAIGHT KILLER NO FILLER. Entertaining but not a GOAT anime. The story isn’t on AOT, HxH, or FMAB level , but those are literally some of the best shows in the entire medium. For what it is it’s cool. Kinda in the same pot as MHA n DS. And people like Baki so you really don’t need much other than fights….

Hunter X Hunter should never be compared to the other 2 , Hunter is the most overrated anime of all time , they didn’t even show the hisoka vs chrollo fight

By the time they got late in the chimera ant arc they wasn’t even fully animating the fights

The greed island arc was mid

The power scaling is ass and inconsistent

Gon hit Rammot with rock after Killua hit Rammot with Thunderbolt and this was before Rammot knew how use Nen and he survived

Then Killua runs into him and just takes his head off in one clean move after he learned how to use Nen

At least in Demon Slayer every character gets a moment in thr final fight

JJK barely even has a story. They just introduce cool characters and have them fight.

DS has a thin story too but it at least only focuses on a handful of characters so there's more emotional attachment.

Both shows had entire seasons of nothing but fights episode after episode. They're fun but you can't be GOAT level with no story.

The basic plot of the story is really straightforward.

- Main character eats finger of an ancient demon, the Jujutsu society wants to kill him but Gojo agrees to collect the other fingers and have him eat them before killing him since he’s the only one that can control it.

- Meanwhile Gojo’s former best friend who was the main antagonist of the prequel story is back and pulling strings from thre background. Gojo is way too strong for him to defeat so he links up with some curses and he comes up with a plot to seal Gojo which kicks off Shibuya. Gojo was way stronger than everyone and basically prevented the world from going to shyt so when he gets sealed all hell breaks loose.

That’s really a simple breakdown. The story is really deep. This is just scratching the surface.
