Usher would destroy Chris Brown in a Verzuz. Everyone who’s comparing need to lay off the drugs.

The arguments in this thread is why I think Verzuz should be about PEERS going against each other. People that were rocking at the same time in their careers. You’re just going to have older people picking Usher and younger people picking Chris. It’s not our fault Chris had his run during the down period.. give him Trey Songz and get that over with.

Yall really downplaying Chris. Usher would win no question but it would be more competitive than people think.

Usher and Chris brown are not in the same era and they should never do a vs together. It was just be a generational divide of fans arguing

Chris brown should only go up against trey songz but he would destroy trey

same with Kanye and Drake. Kanye ain’t made music people care about in 10 years

I’m currently arguing this same point in another thread. CB vs usher is stupid

Verzuz has been about who will be more of a train wreck and unprepared, like DipSet, Omarion, Ray J, Chaka Khan drunk ass
:mjlol:

Chris Brown don't be looking healthy at times, and I would suppose he has a better chance of being a train wreck than Usher.

Usher is more of a legacy act at this point, and hasn't been hot in over a decade.
Chris has put out too much music on the other hand :mjlol: Usher - 9 albums in 28 years / CB - 10 albums, 2 Collab albums, like 8 free mixtapes in 17 years

Im in between both cuz Usher was the man in my elementary-jr high school years, and CB was the soundtrack to my college years ( In My Zone 1 and 2, X Files, Fan of a Fan, Boy in Detention :wow: )
Usher matters more in the RnB canon, but CB matters more in the digital age, if that means anything :manny:
The bolded is the perfect way to put it. And why I would want to see this happen

Chris Brown and Usher are not equals. Chris Brown's peer is someone like Trey Songz.

Being a good performer isn't just about dancing (which Usher is also great at). Singing and the music are also important, and Chris Brown just doesn't compare.
Your first two sentences are laughable, holy shyt:mjlol:.

Trey Songz?:pachaha:

I think older people like 40+ grew up on usher and didn’t really listen to breezy or realize how many hits he was featured on people that are my age early 30s grew up on both so we know it’s not going to be a landslide if you talking about just their catalogs but usher is most definitely a better singer tho
The only problem with Usher vs CB is the generation gap. Old school vs new school.

Usher debuted in 94 and CB debuted in 05
Yeah usher should go Against Justin Timberlake weak azz so he can wash him

I’m 34, remember buying Chris Brown’s first album vividly my senior year and I can say confidently that Usher would spank him. The way Usher took over 2004 with Confessions, Chris Brown never had that. I knew CB wasn’t that guy when he approached 22, 23, 24, 25 and still didn’t make a 8701 quality album, let alone Confessions. The Weeknd had a bigger cultural impact than him in terms of great mixtapes and albums and he was never a true R&B artist.

So you think usher would completely wash CB? Breezy can hold his own
