I think a lot just depends on if Anthony Edwards becomes what he is capable of becoming. if he makes the leap to a legit superstar, a supporting cast of gobert, towns, and Russell easily puts minny in the conversation. all three of them are all star players. no they can't be "favorites" because we haven't even seen them in action yet but there is no reason they can't compete with top teams on paper.

I'm not worried about depth because that comes later. acquiring the top end talent is the hardest thing to do. if it doesn't work at least they tried. that's all fans can ask for

Breh. Y'all gave up 3 unprotected first round picks, a swap and your first round pick for this year. If other contending teams don't have first round picks they can easily move like that, what makes you think that y'all do as well

One of those assets is an expiring and the other one is on a rookie contract, so you're not going to get much in return for either of them and in the case of Jaden, you're going to need contracts to attach to move with him.
