Westbrook has always needed a black coach, someone that can get his respect and teach him how to be more under control

Westbrook getting praised for having the Kobe or MJ mentality does nothing for him, he doesn't have a fraction of the iq either one of them had

Thunder better fire Billy soon before it's too late, once Russ starts losing his athleticism he'll have one of the more ugly declines we've seen

I have a theory ....

Players that act like Westbrook old school (scowl, perceived mean steak etc... I.E Kobe or Jordan like)

Are immune to criticism or heat ... it’s like

He shot 50 times in the game he playing hero ball ...

I know but look at that killer instinct scowl tho :lupe:

How did this not hurt Westbrook legacy beyond repair is beyond me :picard:

And you had PG13 and melo :dwillhuh:

It’s like it never happened :scust:

PG had 6 point in game 6. Westbrook kept the team alive in the 3rd and ran out of gas in the 4th.

Utah coach ran circles around Billy D.

Gobert feasted in the paint cause of the lack of shooting from the Thunder.

Excuses excuses excuses.
nikka lost to an offensively inept squad that relied damn near solely on a rookie to generate buckets when that motion shyt wasn't getting scrubs like Ingles or Gobert open.

Ain't nun wrong wit being a Westbrook fan but we gotta start calling a spade a spade with dude.

Ingles and Gobert aren’t scrubs. The Jazz were the better team, OKC was very flawed all year.

A rookie didn't beat them alone rubio, ingles, favors & gobert played good that series. The jazz were exploiting the fukk outta melo trash defense

Westbrook was like -46 the 1st 4 games of the series , that game westbrook went off the jazz were washing the thunder by like 25 the series shoulda ended in 5 cuz utah was the better team.

PG and Melo's ineptitude for most of the season and especially during this series (considering their status as superstars) is what overshadowed the Westbrook expose' (read as ek-spoh-ze).

I followed the Thunder all last year and there was never a more frustrating team to watch, especially with how Russ and PG cooked the GSW once upon a time, so I already know how lethal they can be.

They have the talent to win it all without question, but they don't have the braintrust to really take that next step. People act like Westbrook is supposed to figure everything out (like people's expectations with LeBron), but disregarding the fact that he's been busy figuring out how to become a legit point guard (which he has over the past two years). Additionally, Westbrook's burning desire for revenge got tapped out last season, so now he's really going to have to be cerebral in his play.

I really hope PG plays up to snuff because then Westbrook can ease up on the gas and play some good ball. Him, Adams, and Westbrook are as good of a big three as there ever was.

paul george is a fraud, that scary injury unfortunately messed up his confidence. Dawg was killing in them 2013 playoffs taking the heat to game 7. Compare that paul geroge to THIS years, shyt looks like two different people
He had a bad game it happens :heh:

George dropped 30+ three times in the series

I think this series came down to coaching. Put Greg Popovich on that Thunder squad with all that talent and they would’ve seen the Warriors in the conference finals I’m sure of it. Billy had ZERO plan for Westbrook going up against a true center that closed the paint for business. As you saw agains the Rockets you can limit or even have Gobert chase his own fkn tail if you draw him out the paint and make him defend the entire half court.

Billy just had Russell run straight at Rudy with no game plan or work around.
