beautiful pics; what made you want to check out that part of the world? Was it expensive - care to share the itinerary you had?

I'd love to check out that region - dont know how much time I would need in each country, costs, etc
Thank you.

I have always wanted to go to Turkey...it was on my bucket list. I'm from Bulgaria/Macedonia...so for me, I went there to visit family etc. Turkey neighbours Bulgaria and many of my friends/family had been and told me it was a must see.

We went to Istanbul and Cappadocia in Turkey and in Bulgaria we stayed in Sofia, went to Rila Monastery, Plovdiv and we were in Skopje, Macedonia for one day as well. It wasn't too expensive...but our accommodations in Bulgaria were free, so that really helped us save on money.

Who did you go with? I've always wanted to travel to far away places but none of the boys want to go there are broke.
I really need new friends :stopitslime:
I went with two of my girls - one lives in Japan and met up with us in Istanbul.

Yah you do lol I always initiate travel plans and luckily, I'm able to convince at least 1 person to go with me.

Thanks so much. Why are you shook?
I guess the biggest obstacle would be the language barrier and customs of the country and just being a black man in Turkey or those other countries I wouldn't know what to expect from foreigners or how I'd get treated. You're a cute chick so I'm sure everyone smiled and was courteous so you was good.

Same here. I can't get these nikkas to leave the state let alone the country. I did love Amsterdam and Italy though.

One of these days I'm gonna say fukk it and go on my own. I might hook up with some hostel people and chill with them instead of waiting for these bums to get their act together.

As long as you stay in the tourist locations as a black man anywhere in the world you will be ok.

Many ox these countries have nikkaz playing basketball in their Pro and soccer leagues as well.

You'd be surprised at how many people know English. Places like Istanbul and Cappadocia are very touristic, so a lot of people know English, Italian and some even know Japanese (they get the most tourists from these countries). You could also spend a little more money and join an English tour group, that way you're not alone most of the time. You'd be fine...to be honest, you will probably get some stares, but I can't imagine people would treat you poorly...I saw people of all races there.

Yes, people were courteous to me...and thought I'm Turkish...I get that everywhere though...I don't have a particular look, so when I went to Spain, people thought I was Spanish, Italy..they think I'm Italian, etc. I suppose I can pass for whatever. Italy is a must see - it is amazing there.
