How many $20 tips before you're over the minimum wage threshold? If he's eaten $50 worth of food $20 would be generous....but since he spent $500 he's a miser. Either $20 is a good tip or not
How is their life improved by percentages?
Person A's bill is $40...he tips $20
Person B's bill is $500...he tips $50
According to you guys person B is a scumbag for only tipping 10%,.
But the waiter takes more than double the money home in tips in the second scenario.
They should do what we do here...include everything in the price including taxes instead of shaming people into subsiding the employer. It must be a nightmare to go out as a group in the US.
The price you see is the price you pay. If people want to STILL tip beyond that then that's their prerogative but no one scrutinises their behaviour.
applaud this fukking man

Low blow

nikkas wanna talk about how much $$$ they got, but then only wanna give a 20$ tip.

)

how much more tacky can you be? Thank god she wasn't our waitress because she would get stiffed off principle. You're at work, stop fukking begging.
at people actually liking and cosigning this shyt. People in europe are doing it right, if you try to tip over there they'll get offended and wont take it. fukk that "tip the percentage of your total" shyt. Even if my check is a grand I'm tipping 20 or a little more. You and everybody else can continue to waste money though and act like you're going it right
