How many $20 tips before you're over the minimum wage threshold? If he's eaten $50 worth of food $20 would be generous....but since he spent $500 he's a miser. Either $20 is a good tip or not :dahell:

How is their life improved by percentages?

Person A's bill is $40...he tips $20

Person B's bill is $500...he tips $50

According to you guys person B is a scumbag for only tipping 10%,.

But the waiter takes more than double the money home in tips in the second scenario.

They should do what we do here...include everything in the price including taxes instead of shaming people into subsiding the employer. It must be a nightmare to go out as a group in the US.

The price you see is the price you pay. If people want to STILL tip beyond that then that's their prerogative but no one scrutinises their behaviour.

applaud this fukking man

:upsetfavre: Low blow

Those taxes will give universal healthcare to those waiters. Can waiters in America even afford healthcare?

And I still have more money in the bank than you dudes. You dudes spend money out the ass. Pay for everything.

Must be impossible to save money over there.

Which is why Euros travel the world....and you guys aint never there.

Top tourists in the world are Euros...so the ''you're broke'' brigade...when's the last time you left the country? keep giving money away instead of saving up for meaningful shyt.

LMAO @ dissin people for tipping when you're basically getting raped out of most of your income to pay healthcare for people who didnt earn it
tipping is optional. your taxes aren't. :umad:

europeans don't tip because they've already given out half their income to the leeches and decay of western society. it would just be overkill :sas2:

I know my name is Mr. Pink and I'm surprised no one posted that Reservoir Dogs video yet, but tipping ~20% is just good manners. People try to frame it as some battle against subsidizing restaurant owner bullshyt, but it's just you showing your appreciation to the waiter.

You don't like it, take your ass to a buffet.

:whoa:

Don't get me wrong. a 20 dollar tip is good and its better than the 3 dollar tips you get sometimes.. But not for a fukking 500 dollar meal. Especially When you serving a bunch of nikkas who make you go back and forth for refills and dumb shyt.

I routinely give $20 tips at apple bees and Chilis , Olive Garden and TGIF, on 45-55 dollar meals. And I ain't even balling like that. :stopitslime:

Something my father taught me to do. Good service is worth it. :blessed:

I remember one time I waited this cac family from Long Island and the father kept trying to hold convo with me. Telling me to work hard and to "wait tables now, to own tables later"

They had a 250 dollar meal and he gave me an $100 tip with a note that said "Keep Going" :wow:

If you wanna ball, ball all the way or dont ball at all :camby:nikkas wanna talk about how much $$$ they got, but then only wanna give a 20$ tip.
These customers arent MAKING you go back and forth. Your lack of a real skill is making you do that. :wow:

:russ: @ working for a trinket and a pat on the head. :smh:

THIS....usually when I see dude's posting their bills on social media its in the ballpark of this [photo below] (not that I got money like that) but relative to how people flex online this bill is a drop in the ocean

@ the Playground in England (idk what the exchange rate was at the time but the as far as i can remember the usd is weak against the gbp )

My wife makes more money than me, but I'm the better tipper.

We go out to eat and the bill is like $60 dollars and here she go diggin $3 out her purse:comeon:

I reach in my pocket and add a 10 with it.

It's the least I can do, since my wife paid for the meal:troll:

:comeon: Most restaurants include the gratuity in the bill
nikka tipped twice
exactly and these motherfukkin restaurants still leave a option for a tip most of the time. fukk them

I don't even give a fukk about the tip. The fact that he had to post the receipt alone is idiotic. People with real money don't do stupid shyt like that. The constant feeling of needing to stunt on people you don't know is something I'll never be able to wrap my head around.
Yeah they do breh, a lot actually. Some post 50k+ receipts of night clubs and other shyt, some of their exotic cars everyday, some of just straight up money.
To me...The more amusing thing is that he tried to flex with a $535 bill like that shyt really baller. Not saying I go around fine dining like that, but in the grand scheme of things. It's not really that much.
500 in the grand scheme of things isn't shyt, but spending 500 for a lunch isn't ordinary and isn't something many people do. so... :manny:

Lots of waiters and waitresses in here. The sheer entitlement of these people.
So let me catch your drift..you want someone to hand you $50.00 for fetching them a plate and a water run on your job. bytch youre not doing me any favours, I'll gladly tell the chef what I want then come collect in a half hour or so.

Word. It's not tipping that's the problem because I've tipped over 30% on some occasions, at least for me....it's the sense of entitlement that bothers me. I was at a Chili's last year and some waitress had a picture of her kids pinned to her belt :snoop: how much more tacky can you be? Thank god she wasn't our waitress because she would get stiffed off principle. You're at work, stop fukking begging.

your logic is flawed as hell...the nikka just spent $500 on food breh...food....THEN wants to be cheap with the tip :comeon:

if he was concerned about debt and expenses...then he shouldnt be spending $500 on food :wow:

nice try tho with your pseudo-intellectual bullshyt
:dead: at people actually liking and cosigning this shyt. People in europe are doing it right, if you try to tip over there they'll get offended and wont take it. fukk that "tip the percentage of your total" shyt. Even if my check is a grand I'm tipping 20 or a little more. You and everybody else can continue to waste money though and act like you're going it right
