Well while you hold the moral high ground, the other side collectively shrugs their shoulder when a 12 year old is gun down and quickly deflects to Chicago or hey that guy who was shot in the back unarmed got arrested for weed possession some years ago. They are pretty consistent in hold that view and they don't seem to emotionally be affected.
