not at all....unless its a labor day or memorial day, you're usually talking about 150-350 a night on weekends, and considerably less during the week if you book in advance. If you on a budget, you can fill the room with 4 heads.

I think the regular rooms are but the joint he's talking about goes for about $900 a night (just looked for march 4-6) for example.

One day, maybe I'll do it, but for now, Elara is too good of a deal for my cheap ass to pass up.

I went for Floyd vs Canelo....booked a regular suite first for that weekend knowing Floyd was fighting just not who, and as soon as I was sure the fight was happening with Canelo I called and asked how much for that room before they price boosted. By the time I was done with the world's sappiest comeback story, I had a $75 credit, Wicked Spoon pass for everyday I was there and for Fri -Tues my total was $1750 with premium view. Should have been $2880. Still a bit much but for one of the busiest weekends in Vegas I paid it off before I got there in three payments GLADLY.... that might not ever happen again, but I pray alot

Avoid nikkas and Mexicans on the strip trying to harass you and scheme on you. Almost got locked up there cause i pushed a nikka off the curb cause he tried to grab my arm after i ignored him about some kind of tickets he was trying to scam

Did Polo Towers as the wife and I got a really good deal ($600 flight+hotel, all taxes in for 5 nights). This was back in 2010. Was concerned at first but was pleasantly surprised.

The room was very nice and modern (bed drops from the wall), kitchenette, BALCONY which is obviously rare in Vegas. Nice little amenities in the suite. It's a non-casino hotel, which wasn't a problem since the whole point was to see/chill at all the other hotels anyway.

Had a rooftop pool also which was nice. View from the balcony was great as the hotel is directly across from Aria. MGM to the left and Planet Hollywood to the right. If the deal is right, do Polo Towers - I would again since most of my time would be spent outside the hotel.

Only (small) issue was some of the clubs we wanted to check were north on the strip (ie: Wynn) which can be a hassle to walk (for girls in heels). But cabbies take the back rode so fare was never expensive anyway.

I would do Polo Towers again if I was on a budget.

Yeah we had used hotwire.com. About 3 weeks prior to departure date. Was last week of July that we had gone.

hell to the naw....especially since Mandalay has the Liquid club there now, which is one of the more poppin night spots on the strip. The south area of the strip has really picked up with Hakkasan and Liquid...it used to be a dead area up until last year.

Thats the good part, the bad part is that you are going on one of the five biggest vegas travel days of the year. On days like Indy day, they charge top dollar for everything because Vegas is crawling with ballers and groupies. Things like entry and such are quite congested and competitive. Bottom line is that you need to have your bread right to have a good time, because money talks during labor day, new years, indy day, memorial day, holloween, etc. Even shtty clubs charge top dollar during the holidays ---- even for women.

I stayed at Mandalay for that price and did the 20 dollar trick and got a top level with a view of the strip( I was originally bottom level facing then desert
