I think Dipset's problem is that Jim Jones should be the General, I was never into these dudes so I'm not 100% sure but aside from the 50 shyt it seems like shyt got weird with them once Jimmy started blowing up bigger than Cam, musically and influence wise. That was probably weird for both of them, Jim was used to just being his man while Cam was the rapper...so was Cam. You see today who is still shining and relevant, there's a reason for that. Nikkas keep saying G-Unit would wash them. But they not listing the songs The only group song I like from them is I Wanna Get to Know You. Buck’s solo songs aren’t good enough or powerful enough. Banks might have something with On Fire, Smile, Karma and Help but the nostalgia factor isn’t the same as those songs are newer. 50 would only have the songs off GRODT like In the Club, 21 Questions, Many Men, Wanksta and Pimp because his other stuff is formulaic and robotic. G Unit would be a better matchup but ultimately the Lox has songs we grew up as children listening to and they sound more natural whereas G Unit has forced club singles that sound manufactured. Also, G Unit don’t fukk with each other either so you run the same risk of their performance being weak.

Half of the songs the LOX played were features.

The LOX did a great job at controlling the narrative but at the end of the day, half of their set was other people's songs. They know they can't go track for track with dipset in either realm - retail or mixtape.
