I think Bone resonates more with the 90s “hip hop heads” and people outside the south while Three 6 resonates more with those coming out the south and the newer generation. I’m bout to be 24 and I admit I really have no connection to Bone Thugs music. I mean I done listened to the first album and it’s bumping and Ik they big hitsbut that’s bout it. All them other songs people in here listing got me scratching my head. Triple 6 on the other hand :blessed:
Thats fair and understable. I know young cats hypnotized by the hihats lol

I see this being close af imo. Feel like some old heads don’t understand just how much the new school loves and is impacted by Three 6 and vice versa. I don’t think us young people know exactly how huge Bone Thugs were in the 90s but hopefully this verzuz showcases both things and both groups get the respect and flowers they deserve at the end.

Pat albums>>>>>
shyt Pat in general>>>>>

feel like three 6 was at their best lyrically when they was doing them lofi underground tapes. Once they started dropping albums it’s like they got less lyrical and more crunk with each one :russ: still fye tho. Feel like maybe they would be looked at differently if Playa Fly stayed in the camp or at least one more spitter to compliment Infamous. Gangsta Boo was hard tho she was spitting too.

I think 3 6 songs will hit harder on the Verzuz platform. They have waaay more bangers

you can like Bone better than 3 6, but more 3 6 songs are gonna ring off harder. It all depends on song placements tho and what song goes against what… but I know for sure ppl goin crazy when Notorious Thugs, Slob on My Knob, Sipping on Syrup, Crossroads, fukk it a few others especially

and in regards to influence, I see ppl sayin Ferg and Wiz influenced by Bone.. true…. But y’all gonna ignore them being influenced by 3 6 as well? Both are super influential, let’s not dismiss the other

and is Project Pat apart of this Verzuz?

All I’m sayin is don’t come into this thinkin Bone can beat 3 6 by a landslide cuz I saw ppl thinkin Dipset was gonna wash The Lox like that too

Sound sound sound
I know bone do shows, but it seems like it’s hit or miss…three 6 all doing their own spin off stuff for the most part…so it’s not like they all have the same brotherhood as lox have

So I’m Curious how the chemistry/presentation will be from both sides…could both be on some dipset shyt if we keepin it a stack :russ:

I would have loved to hear Bone Thugs on more Three 6 production back in the 90's/00's.

And maybe they're doing it in LA so they can all smoke a ton.

 U crazy if u think Three 6 ain’t got 20. They the most influential group in rap. No disrespect but only nikka tryna rap like Bone was A$AP Ferg. They did have the higher peak than Three 6 undeniably tho when it comes to hits and record sales. This basically Jeezy vs Gucci in group form without the added drama .
I’ve never even heard of some of these songs. If this is the 20 they go with they will get destroyed.

I think this is exactly it. For people outside of the South, who actually lived through the entirety of their run, they are gonna have a much lower opinion of 36 compared to someone your age who discovered them through YouTube.

Do people your age understand that 36 was a B to C level Southern rap group up to 2005?
