Nah bruh. Bone fell off after their second album. Their peak was crazy but they fell off quick. Three Six had Sippin On Some Syrup way before Stay Fly you trying to tell me that wasn’t a mainstream hit???

bone albums after they fell off in your opinion, are better than 3-6 mafia's best albums.

this is what i was talking about when i was referring to levels, and how rappers are graded on a different scale.

once you reach the absolute top, theres nowhere else to go but down. meanwhile, a group like 3-6 mafia doesnt have any expectations to live up too. they made trash music at the peak of their careers, accompanying awful album with a couple big hits. they also didnt sell as much at their peak as bone did when they were supposedly washed.

just look at people bragging about juicy j being relevant, despite the fact that all of his albums flopped.

They are the most influential group of all time, modern rap basically copied their entire style they been doing since the early 90s

but that's why the game is fukked up

Bone will easily wash Three Six Mafia, because they way better artist and make better music, and that will be obvious when they go ahead to head

nothing else is matters that's why this a competition we will see who's better and it will be evident

just because theyre ARGUABLY the most influential group over whats going on RIGHT NOW, it doesnt mean that theyre the most influential group over the course of 50 years of hip-hop!!!!!

i could easily name 10 groups that are more influential than 3-6 mafia.....bone thugs is one of them.

yall gotta stop repeating that nonsense man. its crazy.:mindblown:

Was looking for info on tix and stumbled across this. Apparently was on this past weekend's SNL. Probably not a coincidence since the matchup was announced last Friday.

slow down playa.

it is INDEED A COINCIDENCE.

you really think SNL did this skit because of a Verzus??? on top of that, a verzus thats scheduled for a month from now??

its not that serious brehski.:mjlol:

This has nothing to do with them shining. NOBODY looked to Three Six Mafia for lyricism, so I don't get the argument about them not being good enough to stand out in the 90's. It was a lot of groups more successful than Three Six in the 90's and early '00's. That's neither here or there.

The love they get now has nothing to do with the bar being lowered because again, NOBODY is looking at Three Six Mafia as standard bearers for greatness as much as they are pioneers for a sound a style of rap that has become prominent over the last decade.

i hope you dont misquote people in real-life, like you always do on here.
youre dangerous. you might mess around and get somebody killed.

my comment about lyricism had nothing to do with this.
i was talking about lyricism in response to the guy who tried to say that lord infamous was just as good as a lyricist as bone.

completely different argument. it had nothing to do with what youre talking about.

So the bar was loweyed for what exactly? Because that is what I was responding to.

Phil Collins coming out?:mjlol:
Prob not but

Collins explained in Rolling Stone: "Bone Thugs-N-Harmony called me up and said, 'We've done a version of your song 'Take Me Home' and we'd like you to be in the video.' I said, 'No, I'm not in America.' They said, 'They can come wherever you are.' I said, 'Don't make me say, 'No, f--k off.'' But then I heard the song, and I quite liked it, and they agreed to come to Geneva. How could I disappoint these guys? They were nice lads."

My guys get respected across genres. And they got the only Sade sample cleared by rappers :umad:

Three 6 need to bring Mark Henry out tbh

Cuh :russ: :mjlol:

Nah, but forreal I like this match up, but I'm just not feeling the location. I think they should've had this in Vegas. I got 36 winning by a foot:ehh:

But in the end, I think Generation Z is gonna decide who the winner is..
the group who's sound they recognize the most. :myman:

Stage presence will determine everything here. I think both have a solid 20 song lineup (Yeah three 6 more recent but Bone definetly HAS 20 joints too)
At that point it just depends on who shows up (No Bizzy and/or Just Paul and J is not enough) hopefully both aint too drunk off the celebration to preform

The disrespect that 3 6 mafia is getting in this thread is just :mindblown:
im just going through the first page now and holy shyt :mjlol: these nikkas about to be sad as shyt when Juicy J starts hitting these nikkas with early 90's joints that sound like they could came out in the past year

it's wild to me how so many people are going off of commercial success to predict how a verzuz is gonna play out :gucci:

this is gonna come down to whether 3-6 is in shape to perform or not, if they are it's gonna look like Jadakiss when he coasted on Fab

I’ve never even heard of some of these songs. They are going to get demolished if this is their 20.
