98 this was the number 1 song with the number 1 movie with Chris Tucker...all the way up is bigger then lean back because of sports playing it.

Outside of New York nobody cares about fat joe but put Ja records on at a BBQ and a party will break out
you trippin, whether you was in ti for joe or not, these bangers had him being played heavy out west & down south

Ja's earlier shyt was dope. His street shyt, and those album cuts. I just couldn't get into his radio tracks. The R&B-ish songs. That kinda took over his sound a little too much for me. But when he was doing shyt like "It's Murda" and "Kill 'Em All", he was on a nice run.

That being said, I've been fukking with Joe's music since '93. So I definitely think he has the better catalogue.

yall overrating ja's street shyt, breh was running around as great value DMX. not gonna act like there weren't a few bangers, but the fact of the matter is that it's his singy/featuring a singer music that made him a 00's staple. he was well on his way to be bleek/drag-on status had he stayed in the how manna wanna lane.

edit: i'm torn on voting tho, i think this will be close, but i'm going with crack as i think it's the surprise element that will get people. off top people remember all ja's hits, but people definitely forgot about joe songs/features given then number of decades he's been active

:russ: At this being “close.”

:jbhmm: I mean sure… Crack somehow managed to remain somewhat relevant until now but he never had a peak as high as Ja’s.

Lotta brehs clearly ain’t heard VVV, that was one of the hardest debuts ever :wow:

I personally liked Rule 3:36, Pain Is Love and even Last Temptation

BIME was where Ja lost me :hubie:
