If me and a friend fell out and I know they don’t like me, I’d expect that they’d be fine hurting me. I’d feel a way about it but it wouldn’t hit the same as someone who is a current friend who I trust to not hurt me.

Nah, it's basically turning into a roasting session at this point, at least with the young(er) acts of our generation.

Maybe they can still have a civil Verzuz with the legends, but the artists of our generation? It's as much about the hits as it is about who can roast the other one the best. That's what it's turned into at this point.

And I honestly don't think this is what Swizz had in mind, which is why they kept sending Deray out there to get in the middle of it, both during the Ray J, Bobby V/Sammie, Pleasure P verzus, and the Omarion/Mario verzuz.

These versuz help generate more money and opportunities for some these artist that have not been buzzing for a while. I don’t think the internet jokes will stop an artist from participating in a matchup.

Yep.

Unless he comes out with his weak joints like Omarion did. On paper, Omarion was supposed to win but a lot of these artists mess up by not understanding the format.

If O had came out swinging with the B2K hits and then went into his hits with Bow Wow and then his solo hits, dude would have won.

By performing his lackluster material first, he gave Mario a chance to get the audience on his side. And he never got the audience after that.

They still got certifications which is still a major feat, but I thought they were a bigger selling group than they really were. And your right about “girlfriend sounding dated. B2K might have rejected this record and Kelly gave that record to them lol. Actually that group sounded better than B2K
