The reason why he’s getting flack in this thread is that he’s just not enjoyable to listen to

I don’t care what technical brilliance some of yall think he has he’s vocally boring

I've been saying he's boring for years and people always acted like I was crazy. Good to know some people agree.

You got 8 tracks and a lot of reaches…as I said, Joe has about 5 hits to himself and another 5 classic features. In a 20 track verzuz they both gonna need to go for lesser known singles and album cuts, and Jah can hang off the strength of his first two albums

We just gotta agree to disagree on this one. Jaheim got a good FIVE tops that'll move the crowd. Everything else is a reach. It could be a 10 or 15 song Verzuz and he'd still struggle IMO.

This will not be a slaughter. This isn't about hit songs. And you can tell people aren't really fans of R&B like that because they only know one or two Tank songs.

The "Sex Pain Love" album was a big deal. He has songs he wrote and produced for other artists. There's duets with Aaliyah he can play.

This reminds of me when people said Teddy Riley would wash Babyfaxe because they reduced Babyface to ballads and slow jams. Someone on here once said Babyface made music for interracial couples. I don't take most R&B takes on here seriously.

But Tank's catalogue sh*t all over Tyrese's. It's not close. True R&B heads know what it is.

Tank sings better too. STILL! And produces. But it's good to see the R&B homies getting some shine.
