Dipset only lost because they had no synergy, wasn’t good performers, and clearly wasn’t prepared. I think Mario vs Omarion is a better comparison.

Not including D’Angelo Maxwell…

Who would you have above Joe?
just r&b act or they need to write? all time or same ~94-09 era?

from a stance of personal taste, talent and success: kellz, usher, ginuwine, maxwell, dangelo, dream, ne-yo, jon b, musiq soulchild
less successful/shorter career, but personal faves: donnell jones, raheem devaughn, bilal, carl thomas

edit: i think joe has a great voice, but dude never had "it" to me, there were some enjoyable singles, but i found most of his albums boring

Same era. Thats a good list but come on tou cant have The Dream and Ne Yo above Joe(strictly based on their own songs) but you probably included them for songwriting which is fair I guess.

I would have only Maxwell Dangelo Billal(maybe) Kellz over Joe, would have him on par with Usher Donell Jones, Jon B is a tricky one thats one of my all time singers but I don’t think he has as many hit/era defining songs.

yea, i could move jon b down to the fave category

and i edited my post - joe has a great voice, but most of his albums never hit for me. he just didn't have "it", he's always been a second tier guy to me and why i think jah matches up well as i'd put him as a second tier act as well

Tyrese vs Jaheim would have been better

Ginuwine beats all 3

Yeah man that’s much more reasonable

Tyrese performs songs that people actually know
Jaheim performs songs that people actually know

A good time had by all. Most of us in here are BET kids. We knew the singles and that put us on to the albums.

It’s unfair to a nikka with actual hits to be up there with somebody on some lounge singer type shyt
