Yo, when Let's Get Dirty came on, I looked up on YouTube because I swore it was on NBA Street...but that was React
Yeah, it was React. Because I played Street heavy, and React was my shyt. I used to play that song every day. Much to chagrin of my mom, she fukking HATED that song with a passion :heh:

She would always hear the hook with the Indian sample and be like "What the hell are you listening to? And what is that gibberish!" :mjlol:

7mile to SE & Uptown!
So who won? I know it's a celebration now but I'm still purest at heart for the track vs. track element.
If we HAVE to go there I would say Red by a hair because most of his tracks came from HIS catalog and they were all bangers where Meth had to jump around through other peeps songs to keep up :manny: and also Red guests songs>>Wu affiliates which you don't get to say too often :ohhh:

EPMD coming out took me right back to Summer '92, playing that Business Never Personal album all day every day, as a kid.

This was my kind of Verzuz for Hip Hop. Straight joints that basically come right from my playlists since I was a kid. Can't go wrong with classic Red and Mef tracks. Two legends who've been consistent for damn near or over 30 years. It's wild. Respect and love to both of them.
