You clearly didn’t comprehend what I said. I never said their output was “nothing much.”

What I said was old CMR songs are more relevant and played with the younger audience than 90’s No Limit, which is true from HBCU undergrad parties to bands to HS events.

It’s not a diss, it’s just a fact that you can easily ask any Black DJ who does 00’s and 10’s events or is around them.

Who got more play in the summer of 1997 in the south at HBCUs.?

Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
Finally watched this (and my 25 year high school reunion messed up not airing this during the festivities :russ: ).

Like many in here, I thought Cash Money would wash No Limit with Mystikal not in the building (I figured they would still play some C-Murder vocals).

Here's my scorecard just off personal preference of songs:

400 Degreez vs No Limit Soldiers - I love the NL Soldiers track, but 400 Degreez was my favorite song on the album
Still Fly vs Break Em Off Somethin
Project bytch vs Freak Hoes
Rich N****z vs How Ya Do Dat
Cash Money Is An Army
vs Bourbons and Lacs
Slow Motion vs I Can Tell
Bling Bling vs It Ain't My Fault
Set It Off vs Mr. Ice Cream Man
#1 Stunna vs Bout It Bout It
Get Your Roll On vs Make Em Say Ugh
I Need a Hot Girl
vs Choppa Style
A Milli vs Down 4 My Ns

Not counting Back That Azz Up since it came after the buzzer :sas1:

So basically 6-6 on song vs song, but No Limit def outperformed the shyt out of Cash Money. Off performance, I'd probably have it 8-4 in favor of No Limit. I was in my office jogging along with P.

Mia X was my favorite out of everyone. She brought the best energy and had me hyped each time she did her parts. Juvenile was also great, as always.

I had to mute Silk parts because his ass don't fully know his own lyrics lol.

He didn't know his lyrics back then lol

Mia and Fiend seem professional as hell lol

Damn shame Mia and Boo don't get their respect

they should have replied to number one stunna with hoody hoo. The lyrics to P's verse are perfect to match Birdman's energy.

"4 or 5 hummers, purple Jag for the summer
SS sittin' 20's but I ain't no muthafukkin stunna...
Grab the gat, where they at, rat-tat-tat-tat
I represent the 3rd ward
You a rookie, I'm a vet
