And you completely cut the part that said “EA doesn’t have a game worth paying $70 or $80 for.” And they don’t, they haven’t and they never will. But you hopped right to me like a fukking stalker. Leave me the fukk alone.

Wtf:mjlol:

Alright you got it, im done. :hubie:

My initial comment was about EA and EA only and you couldn’t help yourself by turning it into CONSOLE WARZ.

You’re just a duranged Xbot wearing blue and white, no different than Meach or Court or whatever he calls himself.

EA makes most of their revenue from microtransactions. They most likely don't want to raise prices until consumers are comfortable to pay $80 at launch. Also, with Battlefield they want people to buy it, so having the price advantage over COD might help.

Gizmo has been a pony fanboy and the circle jerk of Sony stans on this board is hilarious when Sony drops the TLOU remastered remastered edition on the PS6 they will lap it up like starved dogs because of the exclusive drought that was the PS5. :mjlol: they’re even cheering on EA because they hate Nintendo so much :russ:

Like I said they will let the other publishers take the heat for this and when it's normalized they'll do it too.

If you think Madden 27 and FC 27 release at $69.99 that's naive thinking. They have people like the OP posting threads for the console wars trying to use them as a prop to attack their non-preferred brands like EA has even been a good guy in gaming.

Would love to be proven wrong and EA never does the price increase but we all know that's not going to happen.

Not as long as people such as yourself try to justify the price increases like you did when Sony started this shyt to upsell the ps5 versions of PS4 games

That's all you've gotten this gen, it's really pathetic you boys have no games to claim as your own but uncle Phil will take care of you Carlton :francis:

You yourself can't put a price or value on a franchise because you're biased. I prefer Xbox for valid reasons, no stannery. A agree with most of what you said other than who can get away with it and what franchises could get milked.

I'm saying they been greedy, and now they have priced themselves out of the secondary console market and is trying to compete with the main market again like it used to do. They can't get away with it because they was forced to bow out
Nintendo with all it's exclusives didn't dominate the GameCube era, the Wii was cheap and a fun gimmicky interface "innovation" is what sold the Wii which sold a ton of consoles but it wasn't a mainstream console. Some of you acted like sales mattered but nobody really liked the Wii (I did) but most mainstream gamers didn't care for it after they got one. This will not end well for Nintendo guaranteed, tbc...

They have a model that works so they'll be fine. First it's full price, a month later it's half price. Then they put it on sale randomly over the course of 8 months with the price decreasing as the season goes along. Then it's in Gamepass/EA play and they repeat the cycle every year.

So in conclusion a move like this makes consumers want to buy in, and It's better to have 10ppl buy a $60 or $70 dollar game than it is to have 5ppl buy an $80 game.

The fact that it's mostly digital means they making all this off the same one file so don't think of this as moving physical units. And that's how they maximize sales :tu:
Court how are you gonna go from calling everyone else in Arcadium broke to complaining about $80 game prices

I called you broke way back when you was broke :manny:
But what does one have to do with the other?
Your mentality is broke now to even think they are related. See, poor people think rich people just throw money into the wind. That's what broke people do. Now why would any gamer want to pay more? Is it justified? (No) and the people trying to usher in the higher price point is the company who spends the least in development using 10yr old tech but selling it at modern prices

What I've always noticed on here is how people struggle to see the world from a different lens than their own. If I was a billionaire, I'd still have the same stance on this subject because what's right is right.
