I really hope they reconsider that always online shyt.
It's MS, they're a software company. They'll release it always online then realize how retarded of an idea that is then drop an update and change that shyt.

I really hope they reconsider that always online shyt.

Who cares. People complain about next gen consoles that require internet, installing games, and eliminate the used market and say they will move over to the PC where you have to install games, there is no used market, and a lot of the games require internet.
What happens when you run out of HDD space?
At one point MS was charging you nikkas $100 for a 20GB HDD last gen...
MS nickel and dime game is going to be even wilder this gen...
they betta have a huge ass hd in there then... im talking 320+![]()

buy a external. lol at comparing a system from 2005 to 2013 i see you trolling now we done. The same thing that happens right now. You delete something and if you want to play it again you either download it again or install it again. If these machines come with a 500GB hdd it wont be a big deal.
@ xbots now being ok with not only sitting through game installs BUT also reinstalling a game you previously deleted to make room for another one...
threads would make for a great bump right about now...@ xbots now being ok with not only sitting through game installs BUT also reinstalling a game you previously deleted to make room for another one...

i don't care about Kinect. they're obviously bundling it with the system so it won't be considered an accessory anymore and that's fine because that way everybody has it and developers can take that into account.I'm surprised (but at the same time I guess I'm NOT surprised) that there are ppl in here really defending this.
Always on? In what way? You need to be connected to the internet to play a game? Um, I hope the fukk not. LOL @ the recent Sim City debacle being a drop in a pond compared to the nightmare we could endure with this shyt.
Kinect REQUIRED? Say what? Here's something that's interesting: I don't want Kinect. I've never wanted Kinect, and I'll never want Kinect. Why am I having Kinect FORCED on me? Maybe y'all don't have an issue with this, but I'm sorry...I do. And again, as was posted awhile back: Always on + Kinect required = constant access to your living room/bedroom/game room. Not to be paranoid, but I'll literally have to unplug the shyt when I'm not using it. And in what way is Kinect required? What if I tape over the camera, does that mean I can't play games? Again: I hope the fukk not.
Full install required? This is both good and bad, but I'll (naturally) focus on the bad: um, how big will the Hard Drives be? How big will the games be? They're gonna have to be huge. Like was said above: SMH at having to delete a game off your drive because you don't have enough space to play a new one. In what world does that make any sense? And is it gonna be some proprietary M$ shyt again? You know, like the bullshyt overpriced drives (that they did TWICE!!!) that you have to buy for the 360 if you wanna expand?
I'm sorry, but this shyt doesn't sound very promising to me.
So things like DLC on PS3, or the fact that not a single game actually uses the space blu-ray provides. Nope, no nickel n diming there huh manWhat happens when you run out of HDD space?

Winb, we know you don't like outside interactions. But stop this foolishnesslet's be real we all know this thing is gonna be a closed box PC. you'll buy the games and install them then have to activate them online. they probably gonna jack the Windows hotline you gotta call to transfer Windows to another PC. the damn thing is gonna be always online and spy on you then phone home.
i'm still gonna buy it but if it plays out like that the PS4 will be my preferred console of choice.

The first question they answer better be whether or not the system can function without a connection. The fact it's mandatory to install games to the HDD leads me to believe that a connection will always have to be on to make sure you're not playing bootlegs.
I hope that's not the case.
SMH @ anyone stupid enough to cop an always online DRM console...
I will be LMBAO when MS DRM servers inevitably malfunction and yall can't play any of your games...
