Why are brehs hyping up being able to play the game as soon as you start installing it as if the ps4 doesn't have that feature also? :laff:

After reading specs for both systems I think I might be done with consoles forever. Just get a handheld or just fukk with my cell phone or something.

Both sides are taking it too far. MS will literally have eyes and ears in your house at all times. Sony will have the same shyt when you install the face camera. When have y'all ever known a company to install something that's always connected to them and not done something malicious or annoying with it? Right now, we're dealing with gaming companies that are run by people that think that whole Simcity debacle was a win because of sales and they think they locked down pirating. User experience is in the bushes and that's not even mentioning the fact that they both wanna fukk up the used game market, which saves us money. I've owned all of them and I drop into these threads to see what I might fukk with next gen. It's getting to the point where neither one is an option. They starting to make it too hard to be a customer. I just wanna play a fukking game without their extra conditions.

you do realize the idea is that you can play while its installing right you gotta be trolling :dead:
You do realize it is impossible to play something that isn't at least partially installed right?

You won't be able to hit download/install and go straight to the game...It will install the necessary files for the first chapter of the game and then allow you to play while its installing the rest of the chapters...Non level based linear games like GTA probably won't even allow this due to the entire game world needing to be loaded at once...

So yall will be sitting through installs to some extent, the very thing you clowns spent the last 5 years laughing at PS3 stans for...you can bet on that just like you can bet on rampant DRM issues...

Nope streaming install if they get it working correctly has absolutely zero downsides in comparison to the slow ass 6x BD. Better load times(or non existent) higher fidelity , no pop ins etc. Updates will also be non existent with this current low power set up.. game companies can now make gamed with the HD in mind unlike the 360.

also too bad ms aint forcing a gamer to wait 2 hours to play MGS4 . This isn't the same as the technology that is in the ps3

EA has proved that video game consumers will take any bullshyt they stick to them.

Simcity is a fukking completely unmitigated DRM disaster and it still sold 1,000,000 plus copies and will continue to sell.

These companies don't give a fukk. People will buy the systems and play the games regardless of what super secret or nonsecret limiting shyt they put into the system.

I mean consumers already let sony /EA dominate with project 10$ any things possible I guess.

both systems will probably have mandatory installs. optical disc is just too slow for what they're trying to do with games. they already covered that issue this generation

I wouldn't called 6x for blu-ray, slow. It's faster than 18x DVD but slightly slower than 20x DVD

The low-power mode will probably be a staple going forward. not having to power on your xbox will be another convenience that will seem natural like powering off the console with the controller.

But everything else? :scusthov:
