Kawhi has to kill himself nightly while bums like Zubac and Beverly run around. He already tried to recruit Jimmy before Paul. These rumors aren’t out there for nothing. Clippers flame out in the playoffs(which is a strong possibility) don’t be shocked if Kawhi dips

peg leg dipping on a good team?

Kawhi Leonard widely expected to re-sign with Clippers in free agency, per report

A big part of the reason why Leonard signed with the Clippers in the first place was because he wanted to be home in Los Angeles, and he wasn't interested in partnering with LeBron James on the Lakers. Those factors still hold true, which makes it unlikely that he would want to leave L.A.

From Amick and Hollinger:

Yet barring a dramatic turn of events in these coming months, it's looking like this Leonard free agency will be decidedly less dramatic. While this league has certainly taught us to expect the unexpected, the truth is that Leonard is still widely, well, expected to re-sign with the Clippers. As it stands, that's the word from Clippers sources and rival executives alike. Now, does that mean there's no way he gets a wandering eye if the Clippers implode (again) in the playoffs? Of course not.

But Leonard's desire to play in his home region was a widely-known factor of his free agency decision the last time around, as was his disinterest in partnering with LeBron James and the Lakers (who, in the end, were extremely skeptical that the interest he showed in them was genuine). What's more, the Clippers minimized their level of offseason uncertainty by securing George in December rather than having him also enter free agency.

Peg Leg ain't going nowhere, but I dunno how they gonna get future talent since they gave up all their picks.

Better start following that OKC/Toronto route of 2nd round picks/undrafted players to fill out the roster and player development. The majority of contenders have G-League teams just for the hell of it and don't know how to properly utilize them for player development. With 2-3 max contracts per team now, you will have no other choice but to go that route at some point.

They have 3 future 2nds coming in from Detroit

Clippers gave up 3 future unprotected 1sts and 2 swaps those swaps are still 1st round picks and unless the thunder are better than lac in ‘23 & ‘25 they won’t swap

lakers gave up 2 future unprotected 1sts(‘22 &’24) a swap and all their 2nds for the next 5 years(except’23) banking on a pushin 40 lebron and day to day davis

how is the clippers situation any different than the lakers besides an extra 1st?

Mann, Zu, Kennard, Oturu, Jay Scrubb(look him up) and we have our first round pick this year, plus Ballmer usually buys a 2nd round pick in every draft since he acquired the team.. We'll be alright. Definitely have to start developing players better tho which the team is finally acknowledging
