I'd love to see him in Charlotte for the right price :jbhmm:

but he's obviously trying to get that max - so more power to em
I actually think rozier is perfect at the 2 guard I wouldn't fukk that chemistry up. Hornets need an athletic stretch big imo.

every time someone posts this I have to comment and say this was only a bad move in hindsight. at the time he turned it down it was not a bad move because what so many people fail to realize is the 2nd year was a TEAM OPTION. so you guys just knew he was going to tear his Achilles and then turn around and tear his acl within a year and a half? in fact, after taxes he really only lost about $7 million by turning it down which he will make that back eventually. yall just looking at raw numbers thinking he lost $40 million which he really didnt.

In some regards yes. He was carrying too much weight after the Achilles injury. It was only a matter of time before something else went.

well, that 2nd injury has nothing to do with N.O. offer, just fukked up his bag from other teams.

he was offered 2 year deal with 2nd year being team option before he got injured. so say he signed. he got hurt in 2018 right? ok, the 1st year of that deal he misses. best case scenario is N.O. picks up the 2nd year, which there was no guarantee they would at that point. and according to you, if you could guess he would re-injure himself because he was carrying too much weight, then why would N.O. pick up his option? even if they did, and they got another year of him there was no guarantee he gets a huge deal from them or anyone else. so I am going to knock him for his decision to turn that down because he didnt know he would tear his Achilles.

if this HOU deal was for team option, I wouldnt blame Dipo for turning that down either. no one signs deals like this anymore thinking they are going to get hurt. they know the reward is greater than the risk. as long as he stays healthy, he will get a 4/$85mil at worst.

nah lamelo and monk the future backcourt

idk about Monk being the future but I definitely think Charlotte is going to move Graham if not both he and Rozier before deadline. I think it would be smart for them to do so since they both have good value. Miami is more attractive especially in regards to taxes....that doesnt mean Dipo wouldnt sign with Charlotte for the right price.

I'm just responding to the injury part. Don't care about the rest of it tbh.

Would it be messed up if the tickets sat him out until they found a trade or do they want to still shoot their shot this offseason.

Also do the rockets control their 1st rd pick for the upcoming draft?

Lol at the comments in here. Y’all really haven’t seen dude play this year. Pacers fans were ecstatic with the trade even after the failed physical by Levert. they were more worried about the trade being rescinded.

This ain’t the same dude for two years ago who was an all-star for Indians. He’s called off but y’all giving me hope in this thread. If y’all don’t se it hopefully some gm’s don’t see it and we can trade him. But this ain’t a guy Houston needs to max out. You can’t have a backcourt of Wall and Dipo making 70 half the cap and expect to win. Them two playing together could’nt even beat oKc or chicago tow non playoffs team.

Houston has actually been better with Wall on the bench. Not by much, but it still counts.

I understand the point of what they were trying to do with Dipo as they were planning on having him perform well and increase his value for a trade. Problem is, the contending teams that could use him don't have the first round picks to give up and get him lol. Theoretically Miami could, but why would they give up picks when they could sign him in the offseason lol.

They should have just kept Levert instead of being greedy. I bet Indy thought Houston was playing games with them when they called asking for Dipo :mjlol:

It’s still a bad look to turn down a high per yr number coming off an injury like that. That sets the tone for future negotiations, more likely to get lowballed
