Barring an unforseen injury. He's easily going to get $20 million a year on his next deal for much more than 2 years.good luck breh![]()

It’s still a bad look to turn down a high per yr number coming off an injury like that. That sets the tone for future negotiations, more likely to get lowballed
Jsut cuz he’s not good for Houston doesn’t mean he doesn’t have value.
Otto Porter hasn’t been what y’all anticipated but he still has value around the league.
who? for Cousins or Oladipo. Cousins wasnt coming off injury. Oladipo did play last year so he wasnt fresh off a serious injury. granted he hasnt returned to form. Looking from the player/agent perspective they are almost always going to turn these deals down. like suppose he signs and gets hurt during the first year of the contract, especially if its a team option. He could potentially lose $60 million or more. You gotta look at it that way too.
Yeah, Cousins was coming off injury. He tore achilles in Jan 2018 and they offered him $40M before that season ended, after the injury. How could Cousins potentially lose $60M?
Victor has chosen to test the market this offseason and is taking the chance a team will give him over 20 a year for more than 2. I hope he gets it but i would have thought long and hard about taking that deal if i was him.
To try to ease the burden on Fertitta's pockets
FixedNo Levert
No Allen
Dipo about to dip
Watson wants out before his deal starts
Blue Jays signed The astros best player
no team looks to be winning anything for the next 5-10 years
I'd be tight if I were a Houston fan![]()
still dont blame Cuz for not signing it because they still may not have picked up his option. he didnt plan on tearing his ACL is all.
I was referring to Dipo potentially losing $60 mil. have we confirmed that this is a full 2 year deal/player option? because if its not, he would only be guaranteed the 1st year. if he gets injured during that first year...he only makes the $20 mil. if he doesnt get injured between now and free agency, he is going to get a deal worth at least $80 mil w/player option...but I think more.
Heard that cac is all money in. No investors...just him. That’s crazy nobody’s doing that. Maybe he ain’t really cheap as fukk...he just can’t afford it.
