Victor will still get a three year deal just because teams hope he can return to his all star form. Look at Gordon Hayward Situation, he was still getting three/four year offers at 70/80 million.

Hayward success will benefit Victor.

Gordon showed he still had value with the Celtics.

Have vic with the Pacers, Houston or Heat this season?

I can still see someone giving him a two year deal at $20 million per with the last year being a team option.

Someone will take the one year gamble on him with the free agent class being bare.

When has a guard who’s game heavily relies on athleticism approaching 30 coming off major injuries gotten a contract like that?

Oladipo really fukked up not taking the deal:francis:

he should’ve seen his injury history, gotten paid and then demanded the trade

he has his singing to fall back on at least:ld:

I was speaking of something like the 2 year deal Houston was offering him with a team option for the second year. So essentially it’s a 1 year deal at $21 million. If he doesn’t return to form (he likely won’t) then let him walk. If he does, then pick up the option.

It’s essentially a 1 year gamble for some team who has cap space but no one to spend it on.
